Hinata should have died

I think that Hinata should have died instead of Neji.

I'm not saying this because I don't like Hinata its just that she threw herself in front of Naruto with the full acceptance that she was going to die. Thats really what she wanted all along and she would be happy to sacrifice herself for Naruto.

Hinata was the one who wanted to save Naruto from the beginning so it would be fitting in a way for her to die for him. What do you think about who should have died ?

Those "wood spears of death" would pierce through her and Naruto as well. In the image you can see how deep they got through Neji, then look at the distance between Naruto and Hinata. No one expected Neji jumping in the way anyways, it adds some drama to the manga. Hinata already stood up against pain, so she got enough sacrificial scenes.

Hinata has already sacrificed herself for Naruto once, it makes little sense for her to do it again. Neji willingly threw himself in the way of the Mokuton, so I don't see why it matters whether or not Hinata was happy to die for Naruto, since Neji clearly felt the same way.

He knows the fans want Naruto up inside Hinata. And thus, he'll give it to us.

Neji's death, as much as I hate it, shows character development! All his life he had never understood how and why his father died for Hiashi (and technically the rest of Konoha cause his death prevented a war). He did it not only to save Hinata and Naruto but because he said it himself that Naruto had given him his freedom and that Naruto has always believed in him! That why he was willing to sacrifice his life! In the end, it showed that Neji had finally understood what his father felt and that he was truly free.

Trust me, I wanted him to find out in a way that wouldn't let him die but if you think about it, it's the only way to fully understand. It's what he wanted.

Even though Neji is my favorite, there had to be a reason for him to die, he died for a reason thats why he lost his curse on his head. Hinata still has some role to play so we'll just have to wait & see.

Neji just went out in a blaze of glory. He saved his friend and he finely was able to understand the way his father felt. I was wowed I did not see it coming.

I wonder if Neji would have thrown himself in front of naruto if he Hinata didn't first... It is sad that he died but at least he died with a smile on his face.
