He'll have to hold Susano'o to prevent drowning, but that would drain his chakra too much while Jiraiya chuckles. Then Jiraiya could just use Toad Gourd Prison in the Swamp to suck Itachi up and finish the job in Jiraiya's territory. So this means Itachi must release Susano'o to survive? But what happens then? Oh, right, Itachi drowns because escaping a lake-sized Justus on foot is impossible unless you're Naruto, Muu, Oonoki, Deidara, or anyone else that can fly.

So Itachi uses Amatersu to burn the swamp all around him, which would take probably several minutes to fully burn away at least. Susano'o would would still be sinking and Jiraiya would be a mile away with popcorn with a Jack Black laugh while Itachi realizes what an idiot he is for creating swamp of the Amaterasu underworld around himself.

Then IF Itachi survived, Jiraiya could just drop another swamp while Itachi holding Susano'o and spamming Amaterasu is totally plausible? No, probably not. MS takes too much out of Itachi for him to spam.

when a sannin, proclaims that 11-13 year old itachi is stronger than him, and beating him is an "Impossible dream"...YEA I dont get why you look at the weaker sannin, who's not known for his intelligence, or genjutsu skills and expect a different outcome
