Good theroy, but the link you gave have a lot of false predictions and fails considering it was made four years ago (like the one that say if this theory is true, kakashi will never be able reach the mangekyou - but he did it) and a lot more like this one. Still, the seal thing itachi was talking about is confusing... and yes, for some odd reason it's possible that he knows about the cursed seal. But saying sasuke is a container for something, it's very improbably cuz he never showed anything that could ever make us to believe in something like this, even for a couple of years latter.
I won't comment on any other part of this theory because I didn't have time to go through read it.
But as for wheather Itachi knew about seal- there was a strong possiblity that he would know. Orochimaru left Akatsuki after he joined it. Probably Orochimaru was already using his curse mark by then. It was kind of his signature for years. Anko was found as a kid with that mark, remember?
Then we know Kabuto was initially Sasori's spy in Oro's camp. He could have send some information back initially before changing sides.
It seemed Itachi was keeping tabs on Sasuke, whatever his sources. He should have not known about Naruto's promise to Sakura or his going after Sasuke but when Itachi and Naruto faced each other in Gara arc, Itachi used all those images in his genjutsu....

"Machine is rippenned" , "the stage is set", or "wheels are in motion" . Translation problems and problems, in accepting manga dialogues on their face value, can make things unnecessarily complex at times...
PS: Your theory seems interesting and I wish I had time enough to go through it.

I was going to see if you could take that image and go with it...
We know that Itachi says to Sasuke, that there is another secret to the MS that Madara knows... but Itachi never says what that is...
We don't know how MS is obtained at all...
Madara and his brother got it by training hard (never confirmed if he killed someone)
Itachi says he got it by killing his friends (can we believe him)
Kakashi didn't kill anyone period.
The scoll in the Uchiha secret hiding place could have been a tool of Madara for manipulation, and keeping the secret to himself.
We can make theories, but the Uchiha are still mysterious, and don't know what to believe.
From manga, We can say to activate true power of any bloodline limit, intense emotional upheaval is required.. in Kakashi gaiden, obito at first was not able to activate sharingan but when rin was in danger, Obito was emotionally disturbed. Even though he is an uchiha he can't use his sharingan to help his friends, so such intense emotions are key to activate any power. Same happened with sasuke(second tomo appeared-->Sharingan) and naruto(for the first time we saw Kyubi in action) in Crystal Ice Mirror jutsu of Haku. Both were able to activate their powers due to intense emotions......So maybe Madara his bro, Kakshi to activate their MS due to emotions.....Itachi said u need kill your friend to activate MS means u should suffer emotional trauma of fighting your friend and den killing him........So in all Emotions are key to everything.. Even in DBZ, Super saiyan power were first activated bcoz of empotional truma..Goku saw his best friend Krillin died at d hands of frieza, den piccolo(getting unconscious) made him angry and we saw first SS.........

The hand was burned because the Chidori uses such fierce chakra that it can burn the users hand.
Itachi has Sharingan which means he can see Sasuke's curse seal chakra releasing.
He isn't a container because Madara was talking about giving him the eight tails.
