But the point of the thread is where is their proof that's he's the strongest hokage. So he beat ems madara + kurma.he also lost to hiruzen.

2nd Hokage is his brother (its easy to imagine since he was the one chosen as the first he is stronger
3rd Hokage is Hiruzen (i explained why)
4th Hokage is Minato (Minato is all speed,he is strong sure but he even had trouble with Obito AND YES i know obito is strong but Madara is much stronger)
5th Hokage is Tsunade (dont even have to explain...)

Most of whichadara didn't have during the battle. Also in the manga it stated that mito (1sts wife) helped the 1st in that battle. The manga said that in order for mito to better help the 1st she sealed the 9tails in her DURING the battle. So the 1st had help. But also madara wasn't as strong as he is now. So its not fair to judge. Plus we can't really get a good idea of how strong hiruzen is because we only saw him in part one. If he was in part 2 we would surely see a stronger hiruzen. Remember when it was stated in the manga that the 2nd was considered the best water ninja because he can make water appear out of thin air when no water is around. U needed a water source to use water jutsu. How many ninjas have done this since then in part 2. Even kakashi used water jutsu in a desert like field when fighting kakazu. There was no water around. So u can't really say much. But all I know is that kishi has stated that the 3rd and 4th were the strongest. Until he says other wise. Regardless to what's hinted. His words are fact.

But compared to part 2 that battle was nothing on the level of power. Oro looked like a genin compared to how he looked like against 4 tail naruto. The crazy part about it was he was weaker in part 2 due to the reaper seal. He was sick and dying. But look at how amazing he looked. We are going off by feats to judge their powers. Now I understand that's all we can go on right now. But weaker ninjas have shown greater feats than the ninjas in part 1. The third raikage is fast and powerful. We got to see how great his defense and offense is. Yet it was stated that the 3rd was the strongest kage during his time by the same person who said the first strength is like a fairy tail. The tsukikage (I know its misspelled) is freaking strong. Dust element is ridiculous. But the 3rd was alive during his prime and yet the third was considered better than him. Ehh wrong answer. Hate to be the one to give English lessons(not really) but the word could is also used to denote a possibility. Seeing as Madara's next statement was "and he's no longer with us" not "but even him can't stop me now." Its more likely he's meant Hashirama could beat him even now
