That part 1 fight was a total joke and doesn't do hiruzen justice. I'm not a hiruzen fanboy neither am I saying he's the strongest hokage. But seriously, hashi used bringer of darkness and instead of gutting him or take down the clones, he simply punches him ? That fight was a total fail. Hashi and tobirama were as useless as ****, and I really don't see why those anbus were impressed.
What I wanna know is why Kakashi, a Jonin, had to pull out his Sharingan just to see how fast Lee was... Every other fodder there were able to see him, even if it was barely.
He didnt use it to keep up with him. he used it to copy the taijutsu so he could teach it to sasuke for when sasuke fought gaara. im pretty sure you should know that from the next couple of chapters and in the anime lol :sy::sy:
Deidara blew gaara up at close range,even do he was affect by the blast his armour was pretty much intact although it was pretty shattered but am just trying to point out how strong gaara's armour can really get.so if deidara's explosive couldn't totally shatter it,then I don't think Lee's fist could have done any better,so yeah gaara probably might have reinforced his armour after that first punch to the jaw

They were not in full control of their selves so they couldn't really use all their moves cause they weren't thinking straight but any way I still agree with you the match was not that good and hiruzen was just being overrated

When Gaara created the sand clone when Lee was about to use front lotus where did the real Gaara go? He dissapeared into thin air, it wa BS to me, Lee should have won with front lotus not extreme lotus.
It's the 2nd worst fight imo. But u know, I'm not falling for the ''they were being controlled'' argument. 3rd raikage too but he fought well. Oro perfected the jutsu! Why couldn't he use all the techs like Kabuto ? He's a sannin he should have fared better. Kabuto can summon more edos and has a better seal. But the full control mode is the same
Hiruzen knows all the techniques in konoha so knows water style jutsu
Tobirama can use a powerful water jutsu to subdue her and drown her. The water pressure will be too strong for Tsunade to resist against her and it will ultimately drown her whilst crushing her. The crushing won't kill... it will only keep her down, the drowning will kill her though. Hiruzen could do the same thing because he knows all the techniques in konoha including powerful water jutsu. Well, that's just the hypothetical relative ease they could kill her with. But the question is, are the 2nd and 3rd Hokage that clever? The answer... we know nothing about them and what kind of jutsus they would have used because we have never really seen them battle properly (by that I mean using their full power), so it really can't be said canonically that either Tsunade would beat them or they will beat Tsunade. But hypothetically, if hypes are true, they should be wiping the floor with her.
My point is when gaara was tossed down words and lee caught him by white cloth thing tht was more then enough time for gaara to re construct sand shield it's not like he needed hand seals he just needed to have sand near him witch he did
Because lee never made gaara draw blood gaara sand shield is heavy as hell when it was cracked he needed to repare it after it he was fine got up and everything or did everyone forget tht lee on the other hand was drained with two broken limbs ppl saying gaara should hav lost but in all actuality lee should hav died if not for guy sensi
Nah, although Lee was controlling the fight, his lack of ninjutsu deprived him of this match; he just wasn't able to give a finishing blow. Gaara's sand was always going to eventually protect him. You see though, Sasuke, being able to fully utilize Lee's taijutsu as well as have ninjutsu by his side, was easily able to rip Gaara apart in the chuunin exams.

Terms like 'should have' or 'rightfully' exist in neither battle nor war. The results of the fight Lee vs Gaara have already been decided, Gaara won - end of story. It might be, that you like Lee a lot or absolutely hate Gaara but that alone will not change the outcome of this match. Get over it.

If you look at the aftermath of the Etreme Lotus, Gaara's Armor is ALMOST COMPLETELY INTACT. And he himself stands up a moment later, seemingly none the worse for wear.
That just seems wrong to me.
