From point a to b minato is the fastest because ftg is truely instant, sasuke and bee never dodged a's full speed attack when a goes full power his hair gets spiky and stands up, he didn't use his full speed against sasuke and sasuke still couldn't avoid his attacks if gaara hadn't intervened sasuke would have been crushed by the raikage even though he would've lost his leg, he probably would've got another one like the arm he replaced.

Name another shinobi other than Minato to figure out Tobi's ability, extract the nine tails from him, land a hit on Obito without having Kamui, send a tailed beast bomb to another area, teleport the nine tails and seal him in the timeframe that Minato did. Feats of speed??? No shinobi you can name has managed that many things in such a short time.

If we're stripping away FTG, then strip away sasukes eyes, lees gates, naruto cloaks, raikages Lightning armor. Minato BASE SPEED could track A's punch, pull and throw a kunai and teleport, then jump back and kick A before he even realized what was happening.

I would say not! FTG is the using of seals and sending the user to only the seals in which are planted on material things.
But in terms of reaction, timing, and base speed. We have seen much better feats of speed from other shinobi. Yes he dodged the raikage's punch. so has bee, sasuke, and naruto.

If you think raikage did not try to knock sasukes head off at full speed (considering he thought they killed his brother) your crazy. Back to minato, FTG is a close range jutsu that can not be used for aerial combat or long range. which is why the few times we see it. It's used only in hand to hand combat.

Thus far the true all around speed demons i have seen are itachi's hands signs while in a shuriken shootout at very close range with sasuke. sasuke using his sharingan, summoning manda (justu) and giving it the command to jump in his mouth, while escaping in mere seconds! from a justu that should of killed him. kakakshi has some of the best reaction skills in the shinobi world. he managed to warp a nail that was shot like a bullet at his head!

What has minato done with this over hyped technique thus far to say he has the best all around speed in the manga? i am not a hater i don't have any favs. this was a debate at work, so i am bringing it here to my base family. lol let's begin my fellow narutards

Lol only materials that are planted? really It really baffles me why do some people try to down grade minato so much. His FTG is mark seal that doesn't need hand seals. It's a mark that can be placed on anything and anywhere. He planted those marks into obito's body, killer bee tentacle and many other things.

Minato saw raikage's punch (that's like stopping time and space). Raikage told naruto that the only who has ever dodged his speed was minato and this is after fighting sasuke and other guys you mentioned.

Minato's FTG is not close range combat, far from it. All he needs to do is throw a kunai to the spot he wants to teleport and once he is there, he can throw another again to its target in a matter of milli seconds. No opponent would be fast enough to react to his combos. His mark can be used in infinite-less way and not only that his mark is impossible to be tracked. Since the seal moves and you can't really sense the mark.

No one has ever come close to minato getting his son and kushina out of the house while the blast had already been shot by kurama. He teleported kurama along with the blast and at the same took naruto and kushina out of the house to a save place. Tell me who in the shinobi world can do that?

Minato is the fastest even without the FTG. Fast doesn't really rely on speed but reflexes and maneuverability. Minato was praised on his reflexes too. Speeder like Bee only run in straight lines which make their movement predictable. A, Minato and Naruto can run any other way. Also they can see attacks coming and react. The fact that Minato can see A coming and dodge at the last possibly micro second means he's faster. The fact that Naruto can do the same but physically move out the way means his speed is faster.

Minato might not even be the fastest shinobi to have lived anymore. Naruto could have taken that title. In Bijuu Mode it seems he's twice as faster than he was in kyuubi chakra mode. Which could make him the fastest to live. He currently held that title in Kyuubi Chakra Mode but in Bijuu Mode he's faster.
