Wind training with Howard

I entered the large, open space in the center of a forested area that is my next destination. Taking quick notice of a shaded tree that stands alone at the center of the field, I make my way over, and causally stretch out and recline, finding bliss it's shade.
"Now all I have to do," I tell myself, "Is wait......."

Fuuton jutsu are performed by making the user's chakra as sharp and thin as possible. Wind Release is mainly short to mid-ranged offensive techniques that combine brute force and keen precision to deal cutting and slashing damage. It is a rare nature and I want you to first tell me anything you know about it. Then I want you to try and manipulate you chakra making it as sharp and as thin as possible while releasing it to create a gust of wind. This gust of wind should be able to pick up loose dirt and sand from the area.

Well, Fuuton is strong against lightning techniques due to the fact that wind naturally nullifies lightning, but it is weak against fire element techniques because the flames are only fueled and strengthened by the flames...it can be used with water in order to increase the waters impact.....the best known fuuton users to my knowledge are temari and naruto. Asuma sensei was another skilled fuuton user. other than that I only draw a blank...........

closing my eyes I begin to focus on my chakra flow and concentrating on the act of manipulating my chakra into the properties of wind. I begin to force my chakra particles to over around more freely while still keeping them in a chaotic order. Once I accomplish this, I begin to mold my chakra around my entire hand, keeping in mind that it needs to become sharp.
As I do so, I can feel the natural wind around me begin to react. the tree limbs around us swayed gently as the loose dirt began to swirl violently and was flung in random directions.

(Fūton: Fūsajin no Jutsu) - Wind Release: Dust Wind Technique

Description: The user creates a gust of wind that layers an area in loose sand and dust. Doing so also acts as a sandblaster on the surrounding area. This layer of sand that accumulates on the trees during this technique makes it difficult for others to get a good footing. The initial gust can also temporarily blind opponents by lodging sand in their eyes

It was a good first try very well done. Next I want you to manipulate your fuuton chakra gathering it then releasing it to the area directly in front of you, manipulate it around so that it creates a Wind Wall by manipulating the air currents. This wall should be strong enough to blow away most thrown projectiles as well as block most freeform taijutsu such as punches, kicks and strikes. However if a projectile has an explosive tag attached to it and coes in contact with the Wind Wall it will automatically be detonated due to the sheer sharpness of the wind this could harm you so be careful when using this in battle.

First, I start by closing my eyes and concentrating, feeling around for my chakra flow. Once I have it pinpointed, I force it to deter from its natural flow, and to where I command it to. to start off, I channel it into my hands first. Then, with difficulty, I force the chakra completely away from my body, letting it flow into the air directly in front of me. Now in battle it would probably be wise to do this a small distance away from yourself in case your wall is caught in any explosion. As I begin to give my chakra the properties of wind molecules, the chakra that was placed in front of me begins to swirl violently but not out of control....

Description: User creates a wall of spinning wind in front of him that is used to push back weapons thrown towards him. It can also be used against taijutsu close range attacks, but the wall can be pushed back with a stronger wind jutsu or if a smoke bomb or explosive tag touches the spinning wind they will automatically get activated because of the sharpness of the wind element, damaging the user also.

Well it's a Short Range tech so it can't be made to far away from you. Only five meters away at max as that's the end of Short Range.

Next, gather wind chakra into your lungs. Once done you can do one of two things with it. You can inhale and then exhale imbuing your exhale with wind chakra creating a stream of wind kicking up dust and concealing your position, or you can jump into the air exhaling the wind in a small stream like gust that moves you through the air quite fast.

Standing completely still I begin to disturb my normal chakra flow, diverting it into my lungs, at first the feeling is unwelcome and strange but soon it begins to have a sort of null feeling. Instead of immediately releasing the pent up fuuton chakra I allow it to remain trapped in my lungs, building up slowly.
Once I feel that enough has been gathered, I jump as high into the air as possible and as i begin to drop toward the ground suddenly I release the fuuton chakra that had been built up and using the momentum created by the sudden burst of wind I use it to safely land on a tree limb a short distance away from me.

Description: This technique allows the user to change direction in mid-air at high speeds by simply blowing wind out their mouth. The user can also use this technique by blowing it at the ground and causing a dust cloud to rise, concealing the users location and movement.

Gather fuuton chakra as you release a large stream of wind that picks up decent sized rocks as it knocks the opponent back. The wind should carry the rocks towards the opponent slamming them into him as he's lifted into the air (knocked back). Give it a try.

Taking a deep breath I release it swiftly, allowing the fuuton chakra to be infused with the simple act of breathing. Description: The user creates a huge stream of wind that carries rocks that lifts the opponent into the air where the rocks hit them.

Nicely done. Moving on to the C ranks. What you need to do is gather fuuton chakra into your palms and clap your hands. As you clap compress the fuuton chakra creating a powerful burst of wind. It should be enough to easily knock an opponent back and off their feet. If you use it after throwing a few kunai or shuriken you can greatly increase their speed and power. Try it on my clone.

Feeling the wide range of fuuton chakra flowing into my hands, I begin to pack it tightly instead of releasing it. Slowly but surely, the chakra begins to follow my directions and becomes compacted tightly. Turning my attention to the clone in front of me, I release the fuuton chakra that had been built up and watch as the clone is knocked off its feet and is sent flying into the bark of a nearby tree, thudding against it painfully.

Description: A simple technique that when the users hands are clapped together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale. This technique, when used as an isolated attack has the power to easily knock over a human. Though the true value comes from using it together with projectile weapons like shuriken or kunai. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.

Next, infuse wind-based chakra into a bladed weapons. You can than manipulate the blades in a spinning manner to attack the target. These are usually Shurikens as it can increase the rotational effects.

Slowly and steadily, I succeed in the task and then using chakra manipulation I move the shuriken into the air, and force it to rotate in a fast spinning motion. Looking around for a target I settle for a nearby tree and fling the now fuuton chakra infused shuriken and watch as it embeds itself deep into the bark.

Perform the following hand seals (Tiger → Ox → Dog → Rabbit → Snake) while gathering up some futon chakra then create a sudden gust of wind by releasing the fuuton chakra. Its scale varies greatly depending on the user. If used by a superior shinobi, it has enough destructive power to knock down a large tree. The wind from the squall can blow away all things in the user's line of sight. A variation of the technique involves a smaller blast of wind which gets ignited with flame.

Then quickly building up the fuuton chakra into my lungs I hold it back a few moments so that I can judge if I have enough chakra for this technique. After adding a little more chakra into my lungs, I expel it quickly and watch as the trees begin to sway violently. They appear to be on the verge of falling, but remain strong. The smaller trees though, snap quickly and fall to the ground.

This jutsu can be used in two ways, the first is with a giant folding fan which I don't think you have, so we'll simply move onto the second. Begin by performing these hand seals.

While in unison gather your Fuuton chakra into the lungs to blow out a sharp gust of wind, which in conjunction with the handseals will create a gust of violent slashing wind. The wind created is strong enough to push the opponent back or create 2 inch deep slashes to his body, however the user cannot direct the slashes.

After performing the same hand signs sempai did, I swiftly gather fuuton chakra into my lungs and once I feel that I have gathered enough, I quickly force it up into my lungs, and in a short burst, i watch as the fuuton violently whips out and slashes at the nearby trees, creating gnashes into the bark.

Description: User creates a whirlwind of slicing wind. Originally used by Temari with her fan, there is a way to create this jutsu without a weapon. Performing quickly handseals, the user will gather his Fuuton chakra into the lungs to blow out a sharp gust of wind, which in conjunction with the handseals will create a gust of violent slashing wind. The wind created is strong enough to push the opponent back or create 2 inch deep slashes to his body, however the user cannot direct slashes.

Very nice, lets move on. Gather you fuuton chakra into your lungs along with a breath of air and expel it out in the form of multiple small tornadoes. These tornadoes can be combined with a sufficient fire jutsu such as Fire Release: Running Fire to create a intense hurricane of flames and cutting wind. As long as a fire jutsu is used in a combo (dependent on the size) you should always be able to get a sufficiently sized combo. The wind techniques gains a boost of +10 to damage points when used with Fire elease: Running Fire. For now just try to create the tornado part.

Description: The user releases a gust of wind that forms several small tornadoes. Combined with Fire Release: Running Fire that forms a circle on ground level, this creates a massive flaming hurricane.

Gather up a bit of fuuton chakra into your lungs while also taking a deep breath. Thne form the fuuton chakra and the air into a sphere of air that you blow out at the target. This should have enough force to blow backwards the opponent and small objects around him.
