Good chapter for my BIRTHDAY! Of course he got his message off in time. Now it will take 5 more chapters just to figure out what his last dying genius strategy was. Kishi balanced the chapter nicely - focus on the "mind" from both perspectives. So this must mean AO is dead too. Pity, I liked him. We needed someone to die after the unconfirmed (probably alive) fate of the kages. But this is it then, this is the last big fight for the war considering there would be no possible way to effectively coordinate everyone and agree on strategy without HQ. Which makes me wonder even more...where's Sasuke and Oro?

Never thought that I'd give 1 for a secound time... Shikaku died miserable. "Yeah, let's just start to spam giant balls and kill their hg squad that we don't know where it is even" Never thought that Juubi could be even worst than this.

And Madara is enjoying it like a little girl not like a villain... pathetic.

Nice chapter. You can't but admire Shikamaru's maturity. Just heard his father's last words and next thing you know....he is focused on executing the plan.

Wow, definitely made up for last chapter.

I can't belive how far it can shoot. That's insane. Finally someone died (on the good guys side in though :(). That Juubi is really a monster among monsters. It firing that Bijuu Dama reminded me of Ulquiorra's Lanza Del Relampago.

That scene with Ino and Shikamaru crying was really emotional. First they lose their sensei and now their fathers. I could see some Shikaino happening in the future even though I thought it would end up being ShikaTemari.

& wtf was Naruto thinking throwing a Rasenshuriken at Obito & Madara? Obito would just phase away if not then Madara would just absorb it lol. And don't tell me that Naruto doesn't know about Madara's Rinnegan because if everyone knows that Obito can only slip through things for 5 minutes straight then Naruto knows about Madara's abilities...

Whoever sees the Perfect Sussano dies...

ARGH where are the Kage's when you need em? AND SASUKE!?!?

Good chapter, wow what heartbreak..remember people that this is war, lots of important guys might die. That 10tails however, to me it looks like it's all thin (like how Kurama got thin when Naruto pulled out most of his chakra, it means he is still kinda weakened) and that means he ganna get MORE stronger! That's a scary thought. Ahhh man, now I wish that team of idiots had taught Naruto his father's teleportation technique; he would've saved Shikaku, Inochi and Ao..too bad. Next time make the damn chapter longer Kishi! :)

Looks like the HQ people are screwed lol :(

oh well, this is war....both sides loose people that is the reality of war
even though i must admit its a huge loss on the alliance as they will have no further guidance from one of the smartest guys out there, hopefully Kakashi & Shikamaru can manage the future strategies...

let me just say people call the juubi even uglier but atm it looks better than its previous form. It has horns...HORNS PEOPLE!!!

feel slack for shikamaru & ino though losing their dads....now chouji is gonna be like

"i feel sorry for you, i know how it feels,"

and then there gonna reply:

" no, you don't, your fathers still alive!!"

I think Shikaku's plan to destroy the Juubi is to have Shikamaru make a plan... and than we'll see a panel of Shikamaru finally winning a game of chess against his dad
