Okay is it just me or does Madara have zero depth to his character. He is powerful and flashy but that's it, he's had no development of shades of grey ever since he was introduced.
What made the villians interesting in Naruto (at least in my eyes was how human and complicated they were). Kishi gave them depth and emotion.
Madara hasn't even shown any human emotions since his resurrection except for his ego. No real anger or joy or anything.
So far he has basically been a manga monster or a plot mechanic, he explains things and plays mister big bad guy.
One of the reasons I think Kishi gave Madara Wood Release was to show us what Hashirama's abilities are.
Madara has not even given us the slightest clue about what brought him to the Moon's eye Plan. He also hasn't even done anything important. The major characters that he has tried to kill are still alive (as far as we know, yes I mean the five Kage's).
What do you all think? This is just me hoping we get much needed development on Madara.
