[Predictions] Naruto's possible death

There has been a lot of speculation that Naruto might not survive. I have also noticed a great deal of foreshadowing in the series.

1. Jiraya said just before he died that a Shinobi is not measured by their life but by how they die in other words the final chapter of the story. When Naruto talked to Nagato he told him that the sequel to Jiraya's story is written by his life. Just before Edo Nagato was sealed he told Naruto to write a great story with his life.

2. Just before Kisame died he remember that Itachi told him that people don't know who they are until just before they die.

3. Naruto predicted that if he fought Sasuke they would both die.

4. The Hokage's 2-4 all sacrificed themselves for the villiages sake. (We don't know how Hashi died yet.) Naruto always said he wanted to be a Hokage that is greater then all the others.


This all brings me to the conclusion that Naruto will sacrifice himself in the end. I believe that there will be a time skip after the war. It would be an interesting way to end the series by showing Naruto sacrificing himself in the end after the time skip (maybe in the Naruto vs Sasuke fight.)

Could you really imagine Naruto being the type to die from old age?

Maybe u missed out on something...the big difference here that Naruto is the jinchuriki while others are not ... if he died there is a possibility the 9-tail will be free ... even if it's a small possibility he just can't die !

yup the same thing with Tsunade ... she fulfilled Dan's dream and she became a hokage ... so that's a hint too that Naruto will be Hokage one day.

Nah, I'm sure people will know what he did for the village. I mean, Naruto might die, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Kakashi, or Guy, or someone else that participates in the battle die. And they know that Kurama is not evil.

Hey it could be after a time skip. But every one dies eventaully. Naruto isn't immortal, so it could be in 10 years it could be in 80 years but someday he will die.

Can you really imagine Naruto dieing of old age. From what I have seen in the series to a Shinobi that would be the worst way to die.

Imprisoned? Really? Go read the manga chapter titled "Kurama!!" and tell me Kurama is imprisoned. Naruto OPENED the seal, Kurama is no longer imprisoned.

Maybe your right. But it would be interesting if we see how Naruto died.

I could imagine Naruto dying for the sake of everyone, just after Obito, Madara, Sasuke & co. are defeated and only juubi is left but there is no way to defeat him or seal. Naruto sacrifices himself along with Kurama who knows some tech like Minato did with him but on a larger scale. They both die with juubi and the whole ninja world realizes who he was and finally find peace...

Hey that makes sense, because he told Sasuke if he attacks Konoha he has to kill him first, and Hokage is the perfect person to confront somebody who wants to kill the village. Except there is a problem, that in the same confrontation where he told Sasuke this he also told Kakashi that he can't be Hokage if he can't save one friend. So it'll definitely have to be before he's Hokage. Tsunade doesn't have to die for this, she could still survive and decide to retire.

Thats actually something I wondered about myself. Naruto and Sasuke are supposed to mirror Hashi and Madara, so it would make sense that Naruto as Hokage has to deal with Sasuke.
