This could be true. I might go with what Chatte said on her new theory though, Sakura might help Naruto (Medic Team) for the 5 minute jutsu.

They don't have to win, simply put up a fight to stall time or weaken him.

This could be true. But why? He's not a medic and what specific duty would he have there?
