Sasuke has intelect and strategy.
Naruto has cunning and resoursefulness.

Sasuke pinpoints details, weeknesses, et cetera and exploits them in a strategic manner.
Naruto takes what he has and makes the most out of it, usually in a humorous way.

Naruto's better at coming up with things last minute and doing things that no one else would think of; helping him to beat what seems like impossible odds. For instance, how he took out the Deva, Animal and Outer path (the latter being my favorite) when fighting pain. Getting out of Son Goku's mouth, And so on.

Sasuke is the farthest thing from slow. He uses his mind constantly and thinks at a steady pace. 24/7. His fight with Deiadara was my favorite part; using the entire fight simply as a test for Deiadara's weakness before he finally cornered him into C0 mode.

They're equals, period. Saying "who will beat who" is pointless, seeing as to how it hasn't happened yet and it's KISHI'S CHOICE. They have positive traits, strengths, skills, techniques and so on. At the same time, they have flaws, errors, weaknesses and errors to exploit. Their whittyness is unique for each of them, and they will no doubt use it to their fullest when they fight.

Side Note:
When it comes to Naruto's "cleaverness," I think he'd be PERFECT with Flying thunder God Technique.

What Im trying to say is that the thread maker said Sasuke had the defense because right now thats his main tatic in fighting which is Susanoo. Naruto's main style of fight is using his speed and strenght not defense. Sasuke is more intelligent than Naruto because he learns things incredibly quickly while has more trouble to learn things. Just because Sasuke has a team that doent make him any dumber or any weaker.

Sasuke has more of a professional atmosphere to him while Naruto does things his own ways that others may see as the wrong way. Sasuke is definitely intelligent, no denying that. But Naruto isn't brain dead... the infamous Rasengan absorbing panel or any form of obvious comedic relief doesn't dismiss his previous achievements. Both seem to have their strengths and weaknesses about them - Sasuke's offense might be better in certain circumstances and the same applies to Naruto's defense.

It's a good idea, just too general for my liking.

In fact i must admit, Sasuke intelligence is very high. He planned everything from the start when he called himself "Avenger".
On the surface, (not even Naruto can understand him) he play along; such as letting Orochimaru have his body. Knowing Orochimaru's weakness, he push Oro to teach him everything, to the point even bluff Kabuto.... Spoiler.
If you are Sasuke fan, then maybe you should read "The Third Databook complete" dated 2012 version. Also available on this NB website. I purposely bought the book from japanese bookstore, as my reference source from Kishi. Naruto and Sakura have 7 pages each, but Sasuke 8 pages. The 3 main characters of this Naruto manga.
That is Fact to say Sasuke has intelligence.
He had to kill Orochimaru, just to get what he want for his team. He want Karin for specific task, as she had certain skill.
