In my honest opinion I think Defense and Offense goes to Naruto, while intelligence goes to Sasuke.

Reason I think this is because Naruto is faster than Sasuke is and there is no point in having more strength than your oppenant if you can not hit them. As my saying goes "strength means nothing if you can't touch the person."

This is not meant as a flame at all.

Naruto is better in offense, defense, and speed. Sasuke may be more intelligent, but when he gets angry, he gets predictable and sloppy. Naruto used to be like that too in Cloak modes, but he has overcome that. Until Sasuke does that as well, Naruto's battle strategy will prevail over Sasuke's. Basically, Naruto>>>>Sasuke. Sasuke needs big power ups to stand a chance.

Naruto getting hit by the Juubi and losing some of his tails. I'd rather count that as HP or stamina. Not do much defense. I'd count defense as the opponent not being able to even touch. That's why I choose Sasuke cause Susanoo is the ultimate defense. But I guess defense is very debatable. I'll still believe that Sasuke wins in the intelligence category though.

Naruto's been given intel on most his opponents and Kurama recently gave him orders.

Sasuke has intelect and strategy.
Naruto has cunning and resoursefulness.

Sasuke pinpoints details, weeknesses, et cetera and exploits them in a strategic manner.
Naruto takes what he has and makes the most out of it, usually in a humorous way.

Naruto's better at coming up with things last minute and doing things that no one else would think of; helping him to beat what seems like impossible odds. For instance, how he took out the Deva, Animal and Outer path (the latter being my favorite) when fighting pain. Getting out of Son Goku's mouth, And so on.

Sasuke is the farthest thing from slow. He uses his mind constantly and thinks at a steady pace. 24/7. His fight with Deiadara was my favorite part; using the entire fight simply as a test for Deiadara's weakness before he finally cornered him into C0 mode.

They're equals, period. Saying "who will beat who" is pointless, seeing as to how it hasn't happened yet and it's KISHI'S CHOICE. They have positive traits, strengths, skills, techniques and so on. At the same time, they have flaws, errors, weaknesses and errors to exploit. Their whittyness is unique for each of them, and they will no doubt use it to their fullest when they fight.

Side Note:
When it comes to Naruto's "cleaverness," I think he'd be PERFECT with Flying thunder God Technique.

They both have a great deal of intelligence but Sauske has seem to have lost it, and because of that has had to be saved in every recent fight of his.

Sasuke's become arrogant (more so), overconfident and cockey because of all of the power he's been given. Naruto's done the best with it. Sasuke's smart, but he's getting out of touch.
