Alright, this is my first thread in this section, and I, quite honestly, don't expect a whole lot.
However; there's been a somewhat unnerving influx of 'Sasuke-fans' recently, and it bothers me. Before you 'bash' me though, please read, consider and answer the following:
-Why do you 'like'/'dislike' Uchiha Sasuke?
-Do you consider Sasuke's 'hatred' and 'sorrow' to be justified, considering his circumstances? If so; has it always been justified? If not; has it always been unjustified?
-Do you believe that Sasuke's philosophies are justified? (Same as before)
1. As a sub-question; do you agree with Sasuke's philosophies? Do you think they're durable and/or logical?
-Disregarding Sasuke's physical prowess, do you think his actions up until this point can be justified? Why? Why not?
1. Same question, but with Itachi's actions up until this point.
Personally, I regard Sasuke's philosophies as illogical, immature and fragile. The young man is obviously traumatized and needs medical care, but that does not justify threatening thousands of innocent lives, especially not civilian lives. Sasuke's views of the world are horribly disfigured and it's obvious that he's unable to emotionally bond with people outside his family. This, I believe, is a product of the Uchiha Clan's voluntary isolation and subsequent destruction.
Share your thoughs, but share them carefully and well.
