Why did Orochimaru consider Sasuke's body as the "perfect body" for himself?

The most prized and strongest weapon of an Uchiha is the Sharingan. Just like Danzo the rat who amassed all of his Sharingan after the Uchiha massacre, Orochimaru could have done the same right?

So why didn't he? Why is an Uchiha body more important than the Sharingan itself? What's so special about it?

I just think we have missed something, I trust someone on NB is logical enough to know or theorise a reason for this......

It's young, so he would have a lot of time to live without having to switch bodies.

Sasuke has the Sharingan which Oro can use to extremely speed up his quest to learn every single jutsu (and by learning jutsu, it becomes easier to create jutsu)

Why pick up a Sharingan if you can get a Sharingan with a brand new body? You will be wasting the Sharingan if you don't pick it up with a new body. Your Sharingan will last as long as your body does.

I'm not sure if he was aware of the Massacre.

But...with all things considered...maybe he just wanted to rape Sauce-gay.

he wants sasuke's body so he could advance his experiments even more heck orochimaru might be the uchiha ancestor reborn stuff more than sasuke

You know the fight between kakkashi and itachi.Itachi said that ur body is not uchiha body........so that means even if u get sharingan u need uchiha body to perfectly use it other wise the user will fall just like kakkashi do.

ok this is what i think.
you remember when kabuto told madara that he and orochimaru deciphered the tablet which s06p left .
and in response madara said that kabuto and orochimaru know the secret behind his body . (uchiha and senju combined means closer to sage of six paths powers and possibly achieve rinnegan )
i think orochimaru wanted the same power .
as he already had made someone with hashirama cell (yamato) and and just needed the uchiha body .
he simply couldn't go after itachi cause he know he is OP . and just sasuke left .

sasuke is descendant of Sage of six paths,he's highly advenced, trained by Oro,etc.
This gives him reputation as perfect body.Thus,he has mastered his Sharingan perfectly unlike many other Uchiha.

I think it was mainly because the Sharingan has been stated to work best in an Uchiha body. Like in Kakashi's case when it takes more chakra to use it rather than for a real Uchiha. Danzo is also another example, seeing as he had Hashi's cells implanted in himself and was still only able to use Izanagi for one minute. The Sharingan just works better in an Uchiha's body, I think that's just it

In terms on Kabuto, his a special character, you could say he is Orochimaru too.

So whatever Obito told Kabuto, he told Orochimaru as well.

Hmm, maybe Oro was aiming for the Rinnegan. It kind of makes sense, Sasuke had extreme potential, a brother which possessed the Mangekyo, and Oro likely had some Senju cells, considering the fact that he was able to revive Hashi and Tobirama. I mean, the Rinnegan grants its user the ability to master all nature types and all techniques, and that was after all Oro's goal all along.

Maybe they needed a young Uchiha simply because it'd take a lot of time to get the Rinnegan, and a young body would last longer

But IDK, it'll likely be explained pretty soon in the manga anyways xd
