yeah, I dont see him countering sand waterfall. Part 1 gaara should win high diff, its too overwhelming for Kakashi too respond to.

If Kakashi tried to Kamui the majority of the tsunami he will be out of chakra, so that's a not even a factor anymore

Kakuzu was exhausted from his fight with Kakashi and Team Asuma and Pain had destroyed the village and was only at 1/2 his power.
But Kakashi and Gaara would be a good fight.

Not a good explanation, there were no signs that kakuzu was tired besides being tired or at 1/2 power does not take away your intelligence or experience, does it?

Kakashi is more analytic than Gaara, he will find Gaara's weakness even faster than Deidara
Kakashi's water style > Gaara's sand
Kakashi's lightning > Gaara's sand
Kakashi's genjutsu could end the fight as well
Kakashi's hiding mole technique could catch Gaara from underground
Gaara won't be able to catch someone as fast as Kakashi if he can't even catch the Mizukage's clone in a desert
Gaara could be caught by Kakashi's raiton kage bunshin
If he flies, Kakashi can simply snipe him with Kamui

i would counter all your points but you left much too be desired without much proof to back up all u said.
so i'd like to see reinforcements for those things like how kakashis jutsu speed is actually faster then Gaara's sand and how his lightning beats is or Gaara being caught by a bunshin or kamui or all that. then i'll take them on.
& not related but what is Gaaras "weakness" that you say deidara found out? the fact hes kazekage and has to protect his village so to attack the village with a bomb the size of the village?lol
