Because he failed to train with his Kyuubi power AND always looked at it as a risk to friends, he now will be overwhelmed by it due to the seal being broken. Unlike Hachibi the 8-Tails who is intuned with demon, Naruto ran from his like a coward. All the while I was hoping he would make a pact or strike a deal with the Kyuubi to work with it.

Now his and many of Konoha's fears have been realized, all because Naruto was selfish. His victory over Pain will be a hollow one if he does so without control. It won't be revenge for Jiraiya, it won't be to save Konoha, it's just the fox going on a rampage and fighting someone that is out to steal his power.

I got to say I don't like the direction Kishi is taking it by making Naruto revert to being out of control, I am VERY curious to see how and if he spins it.

Thoughts?

i see your point maybe naruto should have spent time communicating with the 9 tails with the aid of Yamato if anything did go wrong.

I don't agree with you. He didn't run like a coward. His intense passion to meet ANY challenge head first (many times without proper restraint) usually gets him in trouble. However, because of the intense love he has for his fellow Konoha'ans...he decided it better to resort to other methods...like his blue chakra and sage skills. He knew that until the right time (like when a super adversary showed up), there was no need to use the fox's powers.

Plus, isn't it already obvious that he'll do whatever it takes when the situation presents itself. Give the kid a break...he's still a kid and he's still learning. There's been no other bijuu masters to come and tutor him on how to master his beast.

It doesn't look to mee that Naruto's completely out of control either. In fact he may have ripped of the Hokage's necklace to show Yamato that he can caml himself down... AFTER he kils Pein.

i understand your pain. But . This situation was unavoidable Naruto had to break the seal and loss control , in order to gain control. The 9tail fox has already told Naruto he would give him all his power and work with him if he removed the seal on the gate. With the seal broken Naruto and the 9tails will completely marge, before this naruto was not a complete jinjurikin he was just a container holding the beast but i think they will be completely merged after this. Naruto also had to learn that Yamato was wrong -in order to save and protect ever-one he must use the power and control it-

it is my option, that it was Minato's purpose for putting the 9tails in Naruto, to give someone the power to stop the villages enemy's and force the 9tails to accept and choose a host. The seal was not designed to be permanent. Minato also knew that the enemy's to come were more powerful then any known before so he put the ultimate power in the the only person with the potential to do the things he could with increased power (Naruto his son). A lot of people ask why naruto and not someone else. Minato was the best ninja the village ever produced who else could overcome him-in terms of genetics, talent, potential, chakra amounts, spirit

No way, to me that looked like the Kyuubi saying "The hell with this collar!" and it was symbolic of the Kyuubi being in control, not Naruto.

As far as Naruto facing every challenge, I agree, to this point he never really has backed down and always seems to do things that show he values his village and friends. However the Kyuubi/9-Tail fox inside him is an internal struggle he constantly has ran from, he never has had a serious 1 on 1 with the fox talking to him about them mutually working together. The fox always saw Naruto as a dumb kid because of this. The fox knew something would trigger him to have a chance to come out inevitably, and since Naruto failed to be proactive and work with the fox, this is the fox using Naruto.

I just hope Naruto regains his hold onto the fox, curious to see how Kishi will do this after naruto has broken the necklace and is now probably beyond Yamato's help.

"The hell with this collar!"
Both Naruto and Kyuubi have good reasons for tearing off the necklace. Naruto couldn't protect the village without Kyuubi this time, so had to force Yamato's jutsu to stop. Kyuubi's been trying to free himself since even before the manga started apparently, so of course he is going to sto pYamato's jutsu as well.

We're at a crossroads that only Kishi can guide us through right now. Best to stop trying to figure out who is in control until at least next week.

You made some good points there Scarfaced.

And I have to agree with Xero, Naruto ripping off the necklace was kinda odd. It was as if he was already in control of the Kyubi and decided to remove the necklace so nothing would stop him from beating Pain's A.ss.

I would Imagine Konoha being dumb enough to have Naruto return to his normal state while Pain is still on his feet.

Btw Scarfaced. Did anyone neg rep you for stating your opinion in this thread?

Thanks, I see what you and Xero mean too and hope that's what it is. Just have a feeling it's steering in a weird direction.

Nope, no negatives from this, got a couple from that Sakura hate stuff I posted in a thread before though lol

^ Take a look at what Sakura is saying on the 4th panel.

"When he's like this, he'll attack anyone, friend or foe"

When read that I was like: "Isn't that what she has been doing since the beginning?"
