rankings for the battle arena

this is just a thought why dont we make a ranking system like the chunin exams where every 3 weeks or so the mods take applications for a tornament that lasts for a week but this only starts after 1,000 posts so it would work like this

10 posts or higher:acadamy student
50:genin
200:chunin
400:s joinin
and then at 1,000 joinin and if the person wants to move higher in rank he applies what do u think

There is a planning already for all that.
When Zanji suggested a new system, many other good suggestions were posted by others, but BiBi and Nexus weren't here.
Now BiBi is but Nexus is still having some problems, so we can't proceed with anything without his help and approval ^^

What about the ranks that we've reached so far?(from training etc...does this mean we can't use jutsu's techniques that we've learnt?)

Does this mean that the sensei's and everyone who battles should be required to take the tests aswell?As it should be a general basis not just people who aren't sensei's?

oh ok was just wondering because it could be a very lengthy process and means people won't fight as much and could take a while to even get round to fighting.....>.>

well im at work and im only B rank >.> so i would get my ass pounded (which means it would take longer for people to reach your level to fight you aswell!!!)

I think zanji has been over this alot in the last thread about this, but from my recolection I think there will be a review of two of your best fight and then you will be re-ranked accordingly. so not everyone will go back to level one.

Yes, that was what i suggested, each member posts in the thread that will be created for this 2 of the battles he/she finds they are the best and then the senseis (in my opinion at least 2 or 3 of them) will decide the rank. No one is losing ranks or jutsus, everything will be judged in a matter of competence and strategic.

Cause if you all noticed, most of the battles here are now only using S rank jutsus and stuff, no planning, no using taijutsu, just strong ninjutsu ^^

I was looking back at some old battles. it was interesting. you could only choose 6 jutsu to use and then only use each one 6 times. It was a team battle so you had to coordinate with your partner. it really made you use strategy and teamwork.
