Would the Rasenshruiken have been enough to beat a Living Sandaime Raikage?

Is the Raikage after "tanking" the Rasenshruiken. His Lightning Armor is gone. Smoke is rising from his body. He doesn't seem capable of using the Armor, at least for the moment, as he uses main strength to snap the Sealing Cloth.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY

Is the fact that he's an Edo, and the Rasenshruiken inflicts damage on a microscopic level. Impossible to heal, even for Tsunade.

But wouldn't it be the EASIEST damage to heal for an Edo? Just reconnect the chakra-links between cells, the work of a moment, and be on your way? It would take a lifetime for the world's most skilled medic, but a few seconds for an automatically regenerating Edo.

At least that's what I figure. Thoughts?

PS: I'm using weird text-sizing and formating and stuff to grab people's attention (like a newspaper), so people won't just NOT READ IT before posting.

I think it would, why did Naruto not do a follow up attack in the seconds he was downed? It made no sense whatsoever.

If he.was alive, the Third would have simply been paralyzed and unable to use chakra, like Kakuzu.

I agree, I think it would injure him pretty badly. He wouldn't be dead though.

Not sure what your point is, are you saying the Third would have just got up and continued fighting even if he wasn't an Edo?

I think it would, why did Naruto not do a follow up attack in the seconds he was downed? It made no sense whatsoever.

Kishi wanted to do justice to the Rasenshruiken AND make the Third Raikage a threat?

If he.was alive, the Third would have simply been paralyzed and unable to use chakra, like Kakuzu.

Pretty much what I figured, yeah. People overrate the LIVING Sandaime purely on the basis of this, which is a bit weird.

A direct hit from that jutsu will kill you, since it was stated to slice it's opponent on a cellular level....that's just hax.

It would kill him fool, Rasen Shuriken destroys things at a MOLECULAR LEVEL what the f*ck makes you think he'll survive

I guess my opinion is in the minority, but I think it was made explicit that the Rasenshuriken didn't really hurt the Raikage's body. After all, his durability is intrinsic to his body itself, not his lightning armor. The armor naturally dispersed with the powerful wind ninjutsu, but his body remained unharmed. Remember, he's a man that could go head to head with the Eight Tails without getting a scratch—up until he scratched himself, that is.

He'd dodge or counter it. :sy: Any move can kill if it hits right, even throwing a kunai at the right spot. That doesn't mean it'll work out as planned.

Looks like people underrestimate the Third's body, his body and blood was steal so such attacks are too weak. In order to defeat him he have to be stabben by himself, for example like Naruto did to him (which was stupid)

No, I didn't see any healing done when he was hit by it unlike Tamari's wind net jutsu.
