His most incredible feat is utilizing the Rinnegan to be the third sage of the six paths. He's not only part Uzumaki part Senju making him have the Rikudou Sennin's physical energy and life force, but he also has the Rikudou Sennin's eyes, unlike Madara who has some of Hashirama's cells and the Rikudou Sennin's eyes. Madara doesn't have the Rikudou Sennin's physical energy and life force, which Nagato has.

In addition, EMS Madara gave Hashirama one hell of a challenge. Hashirama was pretty beat up and wounded in the battle, and that was only EMS + Rikudou Sennin's powerful chakra and spiritual energy. Nagato has the Rikudou Sennin's eyes AND has powerful chakra reserves, physical energy, and life force because of being part Uzumaki and Senju. Nagato has a higher chance of winning this.

Nagato. What's with people not explaining themselves anymore. Nagato can counter mokuton with petra and deva path. Nagato can summon gedo mazo which can only be controlled by those with Uchiha/senju dna(aka Nagato not Hashirama) a long with the other summons Hashirama's got a lot to deal with, then Nagato can soul rip with a combination of bansho tennin and gedo mazo.

Hashirama's definitely going to struggle when he has to deal with Nagato's 8 boss summons in particular cerubus(the dog that splits), the chameleon which Nagato can use to stay invisible and the bird which could bomb Hashirama from above.

If you read the basics of how chakra manifest itself to an element you will realize that the argument that was made is pointless. mukouton is shown coming from the body or ground. It consist of body energy, any averge nin justu consist of yin yang chakra. So ya try again kid, and another thing why didn't nagato absorb amatersu? So there is a limit to what can be absorb.
