Why wasn't Konan revived as an Edo?

To all the people saying that Kabuto had already summoned all his Edo's, Nagato was summoned directly as a result of Konan's defeat. And when has Kabuto ever been that inflexible?

You know Konan's body is in the depths of an ocean/lake whatever it is, just like Jiraiya's.
You forget both died in Amekagure in water.
And Kisame hasn't been brought up cause sharks ate him. No DNa.

You make some points, but Obito giving up on Konan's body was his decision, and not a tactically sound one.

Kisame's situation is a bit different, for example Obito wasn't HOLDING objects covered in his genetic matter at the time of his death, if we ignore the body situation.

Was Obito briefed on the Edo Tensei at this point? If he wasn't it's excuseable, but if he was it was an idiotic decision.

Yes but Kabuto did the Edo Army himself.
Remember that Obito had no idea about this until Kabuto came and told him.

That makes not summoning Konan a forgiveable error, but still a pretty bad one.

Yeah this whole thing with the EDO Army could've been done better.
I mean, it would've been nice for team Gai to meet him once again, as well for Sakura to meet Sasori.
These would be 2 of the most wanted battles for me, heh.
But guess Kishi didn't kinda gave it a deep thought.

I would have liked to see Hizashi fight Neji, as well as Sakumo, someone from the Uzumaki clan, and Orochimaru's parents (to find out what malformed humans could spawn something like him). Kisame's parents, for the same reason.

But with Hizashi Kishi wanted to emphasize another thing, that the whole problem with the main house and second house or however it was called, it was gone, that now they fight as one => that's why they had Hinata and Neji fighting together
