You can't really compare her to haku because haku is a part of a two man team that feeds off each other's abilities to make it complete so the fact that zabuza was summoned, haku had to tag along to maximise the combination's effectiveness.

TELL ME that Konan would have achieved LESS than Deidara during the war. HAKU outperfomed Edo Deidara (contributed in cutting a division leader). Deidara's potential as an Edo was HUGE, true, but he disappointed badly.

It would make her death less meaningful. She died after an epic battle and held onto her faith in Naruto and Nagato till the last second. Same goes for Kisame, who sacrificed himself in order to protect Obito's identity and plan. So I believe Kishi didn't forget her and Kisame at all, but decided not to bring them back for creative reasons.

So did Konan (not being summoned), and she perfectly counters Deidara's opponents, for example. Is ANYTHING in Deidara's arsenal even CLOSE to her Ultimate tech in power and controlled destruction?
