So we've debated the "What IF Hinata is Dead" possibilities.

Neji: His fate has be entwined with Hinata's since Before Birth. There are many possibilities of how Neji will react (Guilt, Sadness, Pain, Joy...).

Yeah Hanabi is Hinata's younger sister, but it'd be insulting to Neji to -not- bend the rules to make him the new leader. If Hinata gets any last words, I am sure she will make her thoughts known on that matter.

Eh. I think she'd rather be kissing Naruto with her last words/breath, than her clan's fate. I got the impression that she never really cared about it... Hinata was like Naruto with the whole carefree attitude, just in a shy why.

What if Neji pulls an Itachi move? Without killing every Hyuuga... I mean... now is the time. lol

Neji's hatred over the main family is gone, so I think he'll try to save her, but not with a hidden life transfer thing. He isn't going to fight either, but I'm sure he will be the key to save her highness life ( ).
Saw it on another forum, if you look close, hinata is somesort of princess (heir to the most noble clan on konoha, so I put the nobility title above).

I dont think its even possible for neji to become head family, theyl just go to hanabi, hinatas sister.

Thats how royal families do things, youngest siblin gets the throne next.

Youd literally have to kill off every single hyuuga head member before branch members become in "leading authority"
