Old Naruto

Who many of you guys on the base miss the old Naruto series when Naruto was more of a retard than everybody else? I know threads like this have been time and time again, but none recently (at least none that I could find). I feel now that Shippuden is just slowly dragging on and on and on until you want to stop and then it gets interesting: repeat.

Ehh, I hated the Naruto who does nothing except get his ass kicked in fights and refuse to use kyuubi chakra. It was frustrating as a viewer when you knew he could do more but doesn't. You never see Goku after the cell saga just fighting in base after the Frieza Saga. He always fights in SSJ or higher depending on how much energy he has.

Old Naruto was decent, in my opinion. It had some great points, but I hate weak characters and Naruto's constant idiocy. Shipuuden is so much more meaningful and deep. Although, I will say this: It def needs more battles.
