Well Kumo for instance was accused by Onoki for stealing other countries jutsu. A good example was the jiton user that Kabuto revived.
Another example is Dodai who has lava release. Both jutsus are seen with users older than these in other villages. Also we know they tried to abduct Hinata once, which caused the byakugan incident. So obviously it is possible to obtain KKG without the certain blood line. Just like Yamato did.

My questions after hearing multiple explantions:
- Making Yamato must have been a miracle, or Oro is a genius?
- Why can (Edo) Madara use Wood Release? And when Obito goes berserk? Sure they both don't have the needed affinites and know how to control/use them as they have shown, Obito especially.
- Is it safe to assume then that Hashirama's Wood Release was a lot better than what Madara has shown, due to it being his naturally affinity that Madara just somehow ripped off.

Wood Elements = Earth + Water

If it just a combinations of earth and Water, suppose many of the shinobi can use it

Kakashi has Earth, Water, Light, Wind

Kakazu has Earth, Water, Light, Wind, Fire

The elemental affinity is correct earth & water but the 1st hokage had a large amount of chakra and might consist of life energy which makes rare that why its a kekkei genkai.
