What is wood element? Is it like a special abilities?

Wood Elements = Earth + Water

If it just a combinations of earth and Water, suppose many of the shinobi can use it

Kakashi has Earth, Water, Light, Wind

Kakazu has Earth, Water, Light, Wind, Fire

its still a kg ability that only certain blood lines can do... yes many ppl can use water and earth elements but only ppl with hashirama's blood line have been able to use wood style... now some combination elements that have been seen used in many ppl, are the ice kg, and the lava kg... it still takes a certain bloodline to occur naturally, but as we have seen multiple times it can be transfered outside of the designated clan with some manipulation... also some ppl get them through their bijuu's as jinchuriki...

Like is just weird though. Like the wood style wasn't throughout the senju but just hashirama. But yea i think like why can't people just fuse the two elements they have and "create" a new release for them selves

The term KG is still unclear, mostly because there are two examples of shinobi using the same KG while being from a different village and completely different clans; these are of course Mei and Roshi (Lava) and 3rd Kazekage and the cloud magnet user. Not to mention, Oonoki supposedly LEARNED dust release from Muu, not being related to him AT ALL.

From everything I can gather, KG is not a matter of being part of a clan, but rather your parents in question.

Lets say there is a clan of Lava users. Does everyone in the clan have access to the KG? I think most people would agree not. But if the clan has a lot of Fire users, than perhaps an equal share of Earth users is what's causing the KG to rise? Bottom line I'm getting at? I think the way to unlock a KG is to have one parent EACH WITH A DIFFERENT ELEMENTAL AFFINITY. Now obviously this would allow many shinobi access to a KG, but I think it also requires a certain body type, chakra type, level of natural talent, whatever you feel comfortable adding to the equation.

To fit the pattern, this would basically mean that Oonoki was the son of a lava user who married a wind user, or perhaps an earth user that married a scorch user, whatever you want to theorize. But the bottom line would be that for this to be true, one of Oonoki's parents must have been a KG user, where that person's parents each had different elemental affinities.

Either way, my theory is that a lava user can only arise if one parent's natural affinity is Fire and the other's natural affinity is Earth, and so on based on the KG in question. Simple as that.

Its a weird KG coz only Hashirama has it in the Senju clan and no one else not even his brother so you would assume its like the dust release Kekkei Tota where you can teach it but no its only tied to Hashiramas DNA.

First off, Kakashi does not have wind, and he does have fire (anime only).
Next off, it's in someone's blood that allows them to use what I like to call a "new element" aka Kekkei Genkai.
Commonly, when to element styled jutsus are used together they simply mix when shot out together. The reason Kekkei Genkai users are so powerful is because the two original elements culminate to create a new element with hundreds of potential new jutsus. It is in their blood and bodies that allow create their new element and this is what allows them to use new powers aside from just pushing two elements together.
Example:
In real life if you pour water on a rock, nothing will happen except you have a new wet rock.
But, (this is what similar to what would happen inside a KG users body), if grind the rock up (Earth element) and mix it with soil and nutrients (User's bloodline), then you add water (Water element) it will create a plant (Wood release), then this plant is expelled from the body giving the user this new element.
And that is what makes a KG user a threat to be reckoned with.

Kakashi also talks about Haku only being able to use his KG because of bloodline, but like others mentioned it seems you can learn a KG.

And third, wood jutsu isn't just water+ earth, its rervealed to be a yang bloodline limit as well because of the life properties it has.

So wood = earth + water + yang manipulation.

To me this seems correct. I think the reason why people like Haku have KG from bloodline is that they have a rare chakra nature that allows them to use it. Think of it as how everybody has a chakra nature but people like Haku have a very rare nature for something like ice.
