That's what my whole point was

To be honest I was just referring to the Zanpaktou's because it's something they have in common, also your wrong with the Rukia thing, if you want to use movie references Ichigo transferred powers to Rukia so she could be released from those hollow twins, it had nothing to do with his Quincy powers, also I'm not sure if it was mentioned but was it explained how Ginjo became a substitute shinigami? if not then how does that explain him, the transferring of Shinigami powers has nothing to do with being a Quincies as it is a highly illegal move for Shinigami's, so it wouldn't only work because Ichigo is was part Quincy.

Anyway I've got what I wanted seems you agree with me that Isshin is Ichigo's real father.

I maybe wrong with the Rukia thing, not trying to argue, maybe im not. i dont know, im just going off of what ive seen and read. I shouldnt have said "He absorbed hers fully", bad wording. He temporarily borrow almost all of her Shinigami power. It hasnt been stated that Shinigami have any Ability other than whats illegal of Transferring power between one another or gifting it to someone else entirely, especially a human. Quincy's are the only ones besides hollows that absorbs other powers (anything with spirit particles). Hollows however is more of consuming whatever they kill so i didnt base it upon that. Quincy's absorb particles and other reiatsu's. Look back at the scene with Ichigo fighting a Menos and scarring it. He went into overload and Ishida just touched him and made GIANT arrows from Ichigo's overloading reiatsu.

It was never explained how Ginjo actually became a Shinigami other than he was human and was recruited the same.

It's debatable but until it's been shown that it was Ichigo's Quincy abilities that absorbed a portion of Rukia's abilities we can't debate over it but for my knowledge Shinigami powers can be shared

plus rep though for the theory.

I have a weird feeling Haschwald is Ichigo's brother/Masaki's other son

You know I think your close but I don't think it's Ichigo's brother maybe Masaki's brother.

1. I hope Juha will not turn out to be Ichigos biological father! This would be the biggest BSery ever! :T_T:

2. Instead it would be cool if Ichigos mother and Ishidas dad turned out to be siblings. This means they are both cousins and they will go mad when they hear it. :scorps:

3. I love the idea Yachiru is gonna revenge Kenpachi!!!! xd (Though I admit probably it won't happen :shy:)

I hope so to but it's fairly safe to say Isshin is Ichigo's real father.

Also I'd like to think that as well since it would explain Ryuuken's bitterness towards Isshin since he wasn't able to save her.

Ah Yachiru won't be able to get revenge on the person who beat Kenpachi because that person is dead but if you mean the whole Quincy army then no it's not going to happen.

Seriously people you shouldn't give too much attention to what Juha Bach said. It might have been just a bad choice of words from the translator, but even if not Bach is the leader, the king, the godfather of all the Quincies. So it's not really weird for him to see all Quincies as his "sons" and "daughters". That "son" highly likely just refers to him being a Quincy and being born into the darkness as being ignorant of his own heritage and/or being half Shinigami.

There is really no doubt that Isshin is Ichigo's father. The similarities between Ichigo's and Isshin's zanpaktou and skills has already been stated previously, but don't forget that if Juha Bach, a Quincy, was the father of Ichigo and Masaki the mother, a Quincy too, Ichigo should be a normal Quincy...and if that was the case, there would be nothing special about Ichigo. He's not going to get Shinigami powers from just being adopted by a Shinigami. That is something you can't ignore unless you are starting to create really far-fetched ridiculous theories.

PS: The next one who multiposts is going to be infracted and with that I mainly refer to TheHokage and adventnova.

You could be right, but I was thinking about what Aizen said ''You are the offspring of a human and a -''

It would make sense for Isshin to stop Aizen in mid speech to prevent Ichigo from hearing the word 'Quincy' which would be reffering to Juha Bach. The chapter doesn't necessarily mean Ichigo's mother was a Quincy, she could have just been a human who fell in love with a Quincy like in Greek mythology, where the offsprings are Demi-Gods.

One could say, after Ichigo's mother gave birth to Ichigo(or whilst pregnant), she ran away and chose to live the rest of her life with Isshin, which is why Juha Bach would return one day to reeducate Ichigo as an adult, otherwise as a child, he would reject Juha Bach and only choose to accept Isshin as his father.

That makes barely any sense. For starters does that even sound logical for Aizen to say "human and a *suddenly Shinigami father pops up*...Quincy" =/ not to mention Kubo made a screw up when that appeared in the manga as it originally said "Shinigami and a...". That he messed up human/Shinigami is still understandable, but writing Shinigami instead of human while that Shinigami is actually a Quincy? Seriously. On top of that where did his Shinigami powers then come from? And considering he just has shown having Quincy powers, what's the point in dragging Ichigo's mom in this if she was not a Quincy?

Seen as the situation is now the only possible match up is that Ichigo's mom was a Quincy and his father a Shinigami, namely Isshin.

If he was just the child of a Quincy and a human, where did his Shinigami or hollow powers come from? Because as I recall Quincy are still humans.

You have a good point there... guess we'll have to find out this week.

But, lemme just give some input back anyway.

So why does Ichigo question what Aizen was about to say next in the next chapter, when his father is just standing there in a kimono?

Let's say Aizen was really about to say 'Quincy', and Ichigo heard, Isshin would sure have a lot of explaining to do. So he simply blocked it out, so if Ichigo ever asked, he could say he was about to say 'Shinigami'. Makes sense to me.

He merely received his Shinigami powers from Rukia. It's why SS simply transferred his powers back to him. Let's not forget, Shinigamis are spirits, whereas Ichigo is a human.

As for the Hollow powers, his mother was attacked by a hollow whilst pregnant, Uruhara then went on to break the chain of fate leading to the hollowfication which stopped midway.

Ichigo didn't question him, in fact it was quite the opposite. Of course it needed to sink in for a few seconds but he accepted very easily that his father was a Shinigami and that the answer on what Aizen just said appeared right in front of him. I suggest you read those chapters again as you are really not making any sense at all.

And it was clearly stated in the manga that Ichigo had Shinigami powers of his own, completely independent from Rukia's and he lost Rukia's powers the first time he met Byakuya Kuchiki. Seriously you are having a serious gap in your knowledge there. And it seems you are completely forgetting what we were discussing here right now, that Ichigo is everything but just a human.

It has never been stated that his mother was attacked by a hollow when she was pregnant. That's one of those loopholes from the Fullbringer arc, but they never referred to that Ichigo was someone who got attacked when still in the womb.

Personally I believe Masaki is a Quincy as well even since the first time it was showed that Ichigo's mother was killed by a hollow...don't know about you but it never made sense to me that at the time Masaki was believed to be a normal human no special powers or spiritual awareness yet she was able to save Ichigo's life this itself is big and overlooked since Grandfisher despite being weak compared to most Shinigami now was not weak then.

And the fact that Ichigo was the one who was letting out all that spirit pressure that attracted Grandfisher how did the hollow not take him since Ichigo was the one he wanted.

Seems fishy to me and it was my first clue.

And first of all, I really hate it when Ichigo is fighting with the big guys and you can freaking tell that he is gonna lose, but miraculously wins by a power-up or something.

Anyways.

Oh my gawd.

Ichigo is part Quincy.

I soooo hope the people here are right and Juha is NOT Ichigos biological father! :T_T:

But I am very suspicious of Kubo. In the past he has shown to be a very offensive plot-no-jutsu user. :(

I checked the Japanese RAW. The last page with talk about "my son born in the dark "doesn't seem to be a mistranslation imo.
However it could be the last words were not said by Juha but by somebody else.

This gives me a little relieve for the time being. xd

The reason why ishin's zanpaktou is similar because i guess like rukia did in the first chapter must've stabbed ichigo when he was a child and in the event of giving a part of his soul reaper powers must've lost everything to ichi as he did to rukia.... that explains how ishin lost his shinigami powers....

Or he used the final Getsuga Tenshou like he said he did, stop making stuff up, and who would stab a baby?

First... My apologies for the multiple unjoined posts. its been a while since ive used a forum and the navigations/buttons have changed a bit. i was looking for a multi quote button, obviously ive over looked it several times.

Second... Isshin never said, nor was it stated that he actually used the Final Getsuga Tenshou. He said he asked to learn the ability from his Zanpakutou and thats what Ichigo must do. So sure its safe we can assume thats the reason he lost his powers for the time being, but its suppose to be a permanent thing, with the exception of Ichigo. Because we all know how special he is and the treatment of being an ungodly over powered character at times to where not even death can stop him and the fact he is the main character lol.

Ishida got his powers back after a supposed, permanent loss of power.

Isshin and Masaki are Ichigo's parents. Juha's phrase about him being his son of the darkness means he is a Quincy that has been with the shinigami, their enemy, hence the darkness quote. And he refered to him as son either because he is his grandfather and Masaki's dad, or cause he is the Quincy leader and all the others Quincies are his to order.

Isshin lost his powers because he used the Engetu's Final Getsuga Tensho as implied when he mentioned it to Ichigo. He only gained his powers again thanks to Urahara. That's why Urahara had thought of the sword used to later on restore Ichigo's power. But the sword used on Isshin was a prototype or lacked reiatsu since no one from Soul Society was used on it, and that's why against Aizen he wasn't at full-power.

Masaki's story is the dark part in here...she was a Quincy and...we know nothing more. She and Isshin fell in love and had to run because it was a forbidden love i think. She probably lost her powers willingly to try to live a normal life. Isshin used the FGT maybe against Juha or another powerful Quincy. His surname is not Kurosaki, hence why no one knew his name when Ichigo appeared.

So Masaki became a normal Human and Isshin became powerless and trapped in one of those artificial bodies. They only managed to have kids because Urahara thought of something...the guy created the hougyoku, so he can create ANYTHING at this point i think.
