amaterasu is overrated

amaterasu is a lethal Dojutsu as its instant n does no require hand seals but my problem is people over hyping it .for example people claim sasuke can solo the whole konoha by using amaterasu flames alone amaterasu does not work like that if it works like that the whole world would have been burnt to the ground ( who put out the flames sasuke used on the samurai? who put out the flames itachi used on sasuke?what happend to the flames sasuke used on tobi?) the flames only only appear directly where the user is looking and spread a little . for sasuke to solo konoha he would have to spam the hell out of it which would make him go blind faster than it did n even ems he would run out of chakara.

Amaterasu is not overrated at all... In fact it is underrated by most people. The Raikage would have lost his whole leg and has already lost a good portion of his arm. ​

Because its anticlimactic, not because its not powerful, how entertaining would a big fight be if someone was just killed by an instant one shot kill technique , there aren't more than 7 people who amaratsu can't kill

Here are all the people who I believe could evade or block Ama: A, Bee, Third riakage, Naruto, Minato, Nagato(sense it and then absorb it with preta path) Tobi, Other MS users, maybe Gaara, maybe Gai if he has activated atleast the 7th gate, maybe Kakashi if he can predict when they are going to use it(maybe with sharingan and skilled timing) and kamui it away and maybe Jiraiya if he can activate sage mode and predict its use.

- Other means to escape it.
Obito he survived it through unknown means
Gaara his sand armor will protect him, ofcourse he would have to shed the armor and can possibly be hit again
