All of Second Mizu's water techs are filled with oil which neutralizes lightning. If Sasuke uses Susanoo to block it gets covered in oil. A katon jutsu can cause the oil on the susanoo to combust and harm Sasuke. Not to mention that susanoo drains Sasuke regardless.
The after-effects of using MS can give Mizukage an opening to use an oil-filled water technigue that covers Sasuke in oil. Sasuke should be unable to use lightning techs and if uses katon techs he's history.

I wasn't debating any other counters Sasuke has, i was just pointing out that Oil > Lightning.

mizukage is a bad matchup for sasuke

i dont see how he can keep up with joki boys speed, water/oil clone or of the explosion. its not chakra so Susanoo is unable to stop it. gaara did it through his fathers gold sticking to it. and we are told even muu was unable to bring it down and that was the reason for his death.
Sasuke doesnt have a counter for mizukage turning into oil water like suigetsu..

Mirage Genjutsu is a Yin Release techiques and not even the best sensors can see through it. Sasuke would have problem with it. Plus, skilled genjutsu user like Mizukage can't be defeated ba Sasuke's genjutsu.

In my #21 post, I said that Sasuke can block Mizu's oil-filled water with susanoo. The susanoo would be covered in oil and if Sasuke uses a fire tech there would be a combustion/explosion that would harm him. If Sasuke gets hit directly by a water tech he better not use fire or he'll combust.

Sensors use Sensing techniques - it can be argued that Naruto would not see through it ( i think he can sense the bad intent from the real Mizukage though ) , but Sasuke is not a Sensor

Sasuke can Amaterasu him when he turns into Hydrification (oil)

He is oil with water but he's not immune to fire. If Sasuke counters Mizu's oil-filled water techs with fire, there will be a large combustion/explosion. Both of them can be harmed by that. Mizu MUST NOT get hit by any fire techs or he'll explode. Sasuke has to watch out too.
