What did hiroshi meant on the hack and slash part?

I think the guy was asking if Hack & slash would be free-battle mode.
But i think hiroshi thought he was asking if the controls would feel different to free battle mode. So he never actually gave the guy the answer he was looking for

He said something about not having a feel like the passed storm games i dont recall a storm game having a hack and slash mode

i think he meant controller-wise.
So obviously its not going to be anything new for people to learn.
ie. Triangle/Y + Circle/B will still do a jutsu, X/A will still be jump, Square/X will still throw Kunai, etc...
So people arent going to be getting annoyed, by having to learn a new set of controls.
Other than that, i dont see what else he could mean...
