Wind release is one of the five basic elements along with water, fire, earth, and lightning. Wind is strong against lightning because it's a natural insulin, but weak against fire. This is because that wind release will fan the flames and make them stronger.Wind release can also be used with katon techniques to make them stronger. You can also use it to make weapons sharper like kunai and swords. Wind is usually short-long range, and deals with making your chakra sharper and thinner. Wind is also a product in the Kekkai Genkai Ice release, and in the Kekkai Touta Dust Release. Some famous wind release users are: Naruto, Asuma, and Temari. Sunagakure is also famous for it's use of the wind style, just as Konoha is famous for the fire style.

You're confused, lost perhaps. The skys grows dark and the wind of aa hurricane are swaying around you, the force is powerful, destruction. You hear a voice..

* I sit down in the middle of the storm. At first I think you're crazy/trolling me again (xd) but then I notice the wind. It's blowing all around me, and I feel it's power. It's unlike anything I've ever felt before, it almost seems alive trying to break free. I sit and meditate on the wind emptying my mind of everything except wind, and chakra. I then begin to add wind to my chakra, and it makes me feel...alive. *
I concentrate again, and I feel the power it has, the power to move things and cut them as well. I realize that the wind's power can be increased with chakra so that it's stronger. Finally, I think about how calming wind is. The way it moves and how it moves through everything.

-Ok I empty my mind of everything except my wind chakra. I then focus it into my mouth and put pressure on it. Once it's pressurized, I release a powerful stream at a nearby tree. As the wind hits the tree, it begins to splinter and finally gets destroyed by the force of the wind.-

I focus on my wind chakra and try to summon it up beneath the small stones all around me. I then focus on the wind chakra, and making it move upwards to make the rocks float. Slowly, the rocks begin to rise and I pour in even more chakra until finally they are all floating in the air.
Goku: Woah wait a minute...ahh!!

As the kunai get nearer, I form the wall and they stop mid flight. They hang in the air, and finally I let them drop-
