I finally found a spare moment to write this... i'm not sure if it's as great as the last one but this one is more of a filler but it's still decent...
Prologue:
Chapter 1:
Riku ran up to his master and took a swing with the wooden sword at his shin. Shinru swiftly grabbed the sword and moved around him holding the sword to his neck
Shinru: At this rate Akatsuki wouldn’t even be able to start a descent battle before you died... (gives him the sword) try again.
Riku seemed to show the slightest sense of anger at the mention of Akatsuki and charged up at Shinru spitting out blasts of ice as he ran and finally swiping at him.
Shinru: (puts up hand and absorbs the ice then redirects it) This isn’t playtime boy (grabs his wrist as Riku swings his sword)... moves like that will surely get you killed against Akatsuki.
Riku thought for a moment. He looked up at a branch above his master. He shot the branch with a shard of ice.
Shinru: (looking up) you think a falling branch will defeat me?
Riku:(holding wooden sword at Shinru’s neck) As you told me master... your cockiness will be your downfall (smirks).
Shinru: (suddenly comes behind Riku holding his spear point at Riku’s head) yes, it will be your downfall my pupil... That’s all for today... you’re progressing finely. (puts down the spear and does a light bow)
Riku:(also lightly bows) So what now?
Shinru: I feel that you’re now ready for the sword...
Riku: Sword... what sword?
Shinru: It’s called Soul Eater. You had it a while ago... but it was too obvious to me that you weren’t ready for it back then. So took it from you... And erased you’re memory of the sword. (Starts walking)
Riku: Erased... my memory...?... Well anyway what’s the sword like.
Shinru: Maybe if you started walking with me then you’d be able to find out for yourself.
They walked along the small path. Trees and the clear blue sky only complimented the complete beautiful scenery of the Crystal Plains. Shinru had been the owner of the Crystal Plains for nearly 15 years and had always taken excellent care of it. It amazed Riku that such a busy man could find time to do things so frivolous as watering flowers. The Crystal Plains weren’t only a sight to see but they also reached great distances covering nearly 5 miles worth of land and Shinru new all 5 of those miles and the 20 miles surrounding it inside and out. He always meticulously checked for a single spec of dirt. Any blemish on the face of his land. Any flower that was turned away from the sun was always fixed by him. The plains were probably Shinru’s most prized possession.
Shinru: (opens a door) losers first (smirks).
No matter how long Riku was Shinru’s student he never lost that smart guy attitude.
Riku:(ignores his comment and walks into the door)
Weapons and armor hung everywhere. There were only 4 narrow rows that you could walk through in Shinru’s armory. And through those narrow rows if you weren’t careful you could easily get stabbed. Shinru lead Riku to a small room in the back with one sword hanging from the wall. The outer part of the sword was a dark blue blade while the back part of it contained a mixture of black and red. On the back of it seemed to be a small wing. Around the handle there was a white wind on one side and a completely dark and black wing on the other and both of them led to another odd part of the sword. Exactly where the handle and the blade of the sword met there seemed to be something that looked like a blue eye, and where the handle ended there was a black circle with a red outline.
Shinru: It was the best sword I had ever come by. It was a little too much for you though, at the time at least.
Riku: What was so dangerous about it?
Shinru: There were too many powers that I couldn’t figure out. Too many hidden secrets behind it.
Riku: (nodding head) I see... so what makes you think I’m ready for it now?
Shinru: (shrugs) Nothing at all. You’ve still got a long way to go before you’ll even begin to understand this sword... you barely even understand your own powers. I have no idea of where you got this or why. But I know that something’s coming something coming. Weird things have been happening lately. Yesterday in the plains the grass was cut. But I didn’t cut it...
Riku: So? Probably just someone trying to be neighborly.
Shinru: When I got on Draco to get a better look of it I saw that it was cut in the form of a cloud. The same type of cloud that is found on Akatsuki’s robes.
Riku: So they may be here then...
Shinru:Yes you have to be as prepared as possible
Riku: (nods again then grabs the sword)
Shinru: Now these are the only things I know about the sword-
Shinru continued to talk as Riku looked at him but didn’t listen to a word he said. Riku then turned around for just a second and then looked back again to see a person in a cloak in front of him. The dreaded black cloak with red clouds. Akatsuki. He quickly grasped his sword and ran up to the person hidden in the hood of the cloak and stabbed at him.
Shinru: What are you doing?
Riku:(turning around to face Shinru) Are you blind!? Don’t you see the Akatsuki there?
Shinru: It’s been a long day... you should get some sleep.
Riku: Are you crazy!? We have to finish him!
Riku turned back to where the man was and only saw his sword. There was no
Akatsuki person. No cloak. No red clouds. Only his sword buried in the tan wooden door of Shinru’s armory.
