though i sympathize with amanda, i can't help but feel as if she brought it on herself. i'm sorry if that sounds cruel, but judging by what i saw in the video it looked as if it was no ones fault but her own that things got out of hand. everybody knows the risks of doing things like that on the internet, and though the guy who started it is a sadistic twisted bastard, she still should have known the consequences of her actions. suicide is the coward's way out. there are so many other ways it could have been handled. i don't condone bullying, in fact i was bullied when i was younger, but these days there are so many stereotypes and cliques and things like that, it's hard to stop it. we can only spread awareness. i think amanda todd's story serves as an example to bullying and what can happen if you do these kinds of things on the internet and you know the risks, yet ignore them.

This is basicly what my friend was thinking about all day. It got annoying after a while. I mean It's sad that she's dead and all, but like most people said it could have been avoided. I don't know why everyone is obsessing over this one girl even though people commit suicide every day. I mean two little kids got shot during a drive by where I live. Not one candlelight vigil. Not one moment of silence. They only had one segment on the news so far and it was only for 1/1,000th of a second. :/ So yeah. Anyways, for all those who feel like it is your duty to avenge Amanda Todd this is probably what you are thinking about (the guy who had the pics of her boobs was Kody Maxson btw and I'm pretty sure he's going to get tormented for the rest of his life now. That's karma huh?):

Not sure if it's been said already, but no, the identity of the initial harasser is not yet known. The individual that anonymous allegedly un-masked has been rejected by law enforcement as Amanda Todd's harasser. Apparently, the reason the individual was in internet contact with the girl is because he was a friend of hers.

Please, people, stay current on news topics. The poor dude now has to deal with all the vigilante crap being thrown his way by irrational people on the internet thanks to "Anonymous."

"Oh hey, some person contacted this girl a lot on the internet... They MUST be the harasser! Let's post all their information to the public without letting law enforcement question him, and watch as the internet community rains down judgment on what might be an innocent man; be already know it's the right person!!" If only it were as simple as the rogue hackers made it seem. :|

I have no sympathy for her or the people whining about her. She was a girl with parents, food, clothes and a bed who killed herself, where's the voices for the other kids around the world who are YOUNGER than her and LESS privileged than her? He was already charged with other crimes and went to court the other day. All un-related to the case of Amanda Todd. Sure, he was not a good person, but Anonymous did nothing other than mistakenly put the spotlight on some random guy who police have already caught.

People really need to get a grip in this day and age, first of all it is partly her fault that she decided to post nude pic's on a random chatroom? Hello this alone spells "PEDOPHILES", surely herself being 15 she should of known about this and the consequences.

Second of all i feel her pain, Bullying is not nice it sucks donkey d1ck to be bullied, then again it's the real word. Trolling has become worse since the past days, where trolling was just a meer joke, now people are taking "trolling" to a different level of "Hey im a ****".

Saying that people who do suffer from depression, and social anxeity problems do find it hard to communicate with the outside world, which is why "Rumoured", she never went out for like 9 weeks. So maybe she was scared to phone the police, or speak to her mother to get her counselling problems... but as other people mentioned.... suicide is the worst way of going out.. sometimes people call you cowards, sometimes people call you weak... but their are many people who can't explain their situation so they decide it's time...

1. She is a first world country girl. Therefore, she knows NOTHING about the struggle to get food, shelter and water. She lived a fairly nice life, but when she did something retarded (which I am sure some of you ****ers have done too, some of you have probably done something JUST like her-flashing underage or worse and are just hiding it), her life of "order" got ****ed up which sent her to a depression.

If you look at the blind people who were able to regain their sight, you'd see that MOST of them get depressed because they don't know how to cope with their new world.

Why are people making such a drama over this, it was her fault too suicide's the easy way out she got herself into that mess, life's a bitch deal with it, and where the f-k where all those people who lighted candles when she needed them, they were the people who bullied her aswell.
