true that my friend. a funny thing is that, he was the first to arrive to sabaody island after the time skip and i was like, wow did zoro got better at using his sense of direction with mihawk? but then we saw that it was perona who helped him, and i was like, well that makes more sense. lol.

that video is full of win. nort=up lol. the best thing is, even when he's lost he's just too serious, that's what makes him a very cool character.

Its all about the entertaintment. Even after so many chapters, episodes, one piece never fails to entertain me.

One Piece just makes me smile! It has humor or funny moments almost all the time! And this is what makes the serious moments fantastic! It is like how Part I Naruto had. Naruto would be making jokes or would humiliate himself, but when a friend is hurt shit got real. Also all of the characters actually recieve development and upgrades! Basically if you read the Water 7 arc of One Piece you can see the greatest level of both how funny and at the same time how serious it gets!

The second point would be pirates...they are cool in my opinion! The different crews with bounties is pretty cool!

Also the Devil fruit powers are cool, they are for the most part all unique and the attacks and fighting styles they develop for them!

The lady thing is that every member of the Straw hat crew (the main characters lol) all band together as they all have their own dream they want to accomplish in addition to serving their captain, and when they are at times willing to give up those dreams for their friends it adds an extremely emotional connection to the characters XD

One piece is by far the most amazing Anime i have ever watched!! (my opinion) ...you should watch it...the first few episodes may seem little boring...but you'll get hooked up after 15 or 16 episodes!!! great storyline...!! Fairy tail ..to be honest ...i wanted to ask the same question as yours...is it that good??? (i haven't watched it yet)

One piece is just amazing. I used to be one of the haters, I tried to watch the anime a few times and hated it then I tried the manga... Now I freaking love it. If I was to ever go to a manga/anime convention, it would definitely be a One piece one. o_o
Fairy tail is just a bunch of fights, fan service and tit-flicks bound together by the power of friendship. I used to think it was great, until I started thinking. ~_~

One piece has depth and story you have never seen before, Has watchable fillers unlike many other, has amazing plot twists and shows it's emphasis on friendship and nakama. Must watch as its one of the best Shounen mangas out there.

FAiry tail - Takes all the ideas like long arcs, flashbacks, annoying characters and throws them in the trash.... Has short, awesome fights that doesn't last for weeks and most importantly aren't you tired of characters explaining their fighting moves every second they use it???
I'm looking at you Bleach and Naruto.
