Well there's Dragon Sage Mode, his vast collection of people that appear out of his belly, his ability to change the landscape of the cave around him, his advanced knowledge of medical practices, and all around being trained as an assassin. . .it seems impressive.
We all know Itachi is a very intelligent ninja and frankly kabuto got what he had coming. Seriously, its practically his fault he lost because he lost control of Itachi. Itachi was using all his resources that he had at his disposal and what of them was a immortal body. Why not take advantage of his body. Also, people seem to forget that Itachi was trying to save kabuto and as such it was harder to fight kabuto were the only move that was going to practically be used against him was Izanami. Even sasuke mentioned that it would be tough to keep fighting like they were. Kabuto really got lucky that they didn't want to kill him.
That doesn't even make sense. He was ripped in half by Kabuto's arm. An environment, in this case a cave, does not make it impossible for TWO Uchiha with MS and EMS and obvious skills in ninjustu, taijustu and genjustu to defeat him. The environment does not cause this.
Clearly his immortal body was an asset he used several times during the fight. I am saying that if Itachi was not an Edo he and Sasuke would have lost the battle.

heres a good example of a fail haters/ sasuke fanboy most likely in the end sasuke/itachi werent trying to kill kabuto just like kabuto wasnt trying to kill sasuke... both were holding back, if sasuke didnt matter at all he would be raped in an instant. also do you realize itachi was edo? and coudnt be controled? theres no way he can be destroyed kabuto knows not one sealing jutsu, and regardless we all know that was a jutsu pulled out of your ass by kishi... how else could they kill kabuto? no way and regardless of that kabuto still isnt fodder he still is over better then both sasuke and itachi combined.... in vs threads you dont put them as edo, you put them as alive.

Kabuto had field advantage and because of this his moves were much more effective in the cave, yet he still got beat. If you re read that fight kabuto was pulling everything out ut they were only defending. if they wanted kabuto dead he wouldn't be in an infinite loop instead he would be 6 ft under. Itachi is just to nice always trying to save people.
yea he had feild advantage, even if he wasnt in the cave they coudnt kill him without izanami, in edo form itachi died 3 times, or not realy because hes edo, say we made this a normal fight because this is your argument right? saying that sasuke and itachi werent trying to kill him thats not the plot right? with your logic say it was just itachi sasukevs kabuto no plot so no edo for itachi and no plot involved, this means kabuto summons whoever he wants and they are ****ed... If kabuto doesn't fight in a cave then his moves are weak. If you look at all his moves and think about the fundamentals of his moves property then you could summize how they would work in an open field. P.s. all his edos were beaten already except for madara so he aint calling his edo army to back him up. Like I already said if Itachi wanted to kill him he would be 6 ft under but instead he wanted to end edo tensei and save kabuto from himself. Thus, using Izanami was necessary. Also it would have been much easier to trap him in izanami outside the cave.
