*Keotsu sits against a lush tree as he watches the clouds roll by in the sky, floating lazily on invisible gusts of wind. A large amount of swords sit against the tree, bound together by a vibrant yellow strip that reads "KEEP OUT". Conversely, a blade sits almost humbly across the man's lap, resting in it's scabbard, as if it too, is simply basking in the day.
Though not visible physically, great excitement wells up inside the swordsman. Today he would be passing his teachings on to one of his best friends. "All for one and one for all." He, like the others, had taken it upon himself to help protect his friends. And, hopefully, he thought, this would help them all on that road.*
*The refreshing scent of pine filled the air as the moss-headed warrior made his way through a lush forest, to where he was to reunite with an old Jouishishi comrade and long time friend. A cool autumn breeze creeping through the trees filled him vigor, as the samurai questioned how many points he'd accumulated for his for his next visit to his favorite cabaret club. Sunlight trickled down through the trees as the forest opened up to a clearing:
Walking into the field, another light breeze blew through - A pleasant chiming could be heard as his sword, Honjo Masamune, adjusted in its scabbard as the wind rocked it. The pleasant ringing along with the orchestra of rustling leaves would alert Keotsu that he had arrived, and whom Sakamoto approached.*
*As Keotsu sits pleasantly, he hears the gentle orchestra of rustling leaves and chiming bells - turning his head in that direction, he sees his dear friend Sakamoto approaching.
Standing up, he goes to greet his friend.*
"Indeed it has Sakamoto. It's nice to see you're well after so long. How is your business?"
*Keotsu says this as he picks up the two cases of katana, throwing them over his shoulders as he approached.
"Ahaha, the Kainetai are doing well. I leave the little things to Mutsu, but I think I'll head back towards the Land of Iron soon - It's been a while since I've seen Oryo We should work on strengthening relationships between the samurai and shinobi. But you, Keotsu! You haven't changed a bit! Ahahah"
*Sakamoto eyes the two cases of katana.*
"Ohh, so this is the style Mifune taught you all those years ago?"

"I haven't? I suppose that's comforting to hear, in a way. Though, I do feel that spending time with you and Gintoki is starting to affect me. Perhaps...perhaps there is a chance that we can bring peace to the Shinobi and the Samurai. Oh...And I don't believe I ever properly thanked you for introducing me to Elizabeth. So, arigato."
*Keotsu waits quietly as Sakamoto notions to the two cases.*
"Indeed, it is. And my spreading it to you is long overdue.
Though I trust in your answer already, I teach this style ritualistically, as Mifune taught me.
And so, Sakamoto, my friend, I must ask you.
What is Kenjutsu to you? Why do you use a sword; what is the relationship between a sword and it's wielder?"
*Keotsu's question hangs in the air; though rather simplistic in nature, perhaps due to its short wording, a very profound aura hangs over the question.*

"Ahaha, no need for thanks. Think of Elizabeth . . as someone to commemorate our long-standing friendship!"
*Sakamoto listens attentively as Keotsu explains about this new style, and answers his question in the best way he knows how.*
"As we were taught long ago, many people misunderstand the relationship between between a sword and its wielder, believing the blade to be nothing more than a weapon - A tool of war. But the fact is that a sword is an extension of its wielder, it is a piece of our soul, something a swordsman can never forsake. We wield the sword not to strike down our enemies, but as a means of protection. Kenjutsu itself, put simply, is the art of the sword, and if you do not respect the blade, then you are not fit to wield one.
Ahaha, if I remember correctly, it was also you yourself who told me that a sword wields no strength unless the hand that holds it has courage. Those words stick with me to this day"

"Indeed. For, however noble your intentions may be, if you have not the courage to chase after your dream and make it real....then what purpose has it served? A sword is an instrument of hope, to help you achieve your dreams, in addition to the many things we consider it."
*Keotsu quickly grabs the straps that holds together the bundles of katana, and flings it upwards - the case moves quickly, and the swords are sent skyward; they come crashing down in a rain of steel, each blade landing with it's tip in the ground, their surfaces gleaming.

Damage: N/A
Description: The user will throw into the air a large container of katana that are wrapped in some sort of cloth or wire in order to bind them for easy travel – while in the air, a seemingly endless number of katana will slide from their casing and scatter all across the battlefield to supply the user with swords to fight with no matter where they are; conversely, the swords can be summoned from scrolls in the same manner as Tenten’s weapons. This technique was created with the belief that a swordsman didn’t need a perfect sword, but rather, the ability to wield any sword with great skill. Each sword has a mechanism built into their hilt that allows only those who know how to use this technique to wield the swords. If someone with no knowledge of how to use this technique attempts to wield one of these blades, needles will extended from the hilt, much like how Samehada does. Due to this, the Infinite One-Sword Style not only assists the swordsman and his allies in battle, but also puts an extreme amount of psychological pressure on the opponent, due to the sheer number of blades.
*Only Musasibou, Akiza, and KeotsuEclipse can teach this.
*Can only be used once per battle.
*Only users of this technique may wield the swords.
This technique is demonstrated in the first 15 seconds of this video.

"The Infinite One-Sword Style makes use of a seemingly endless amount of blades, and is built on two principles: that you need a well-made sword, not some mystical weapon; and a skilled swordsman.
Try to lift one of the blades - though, I advise you to do it with your non-dominant hand.

*Sakamoto watches in as the blades slide from the case and are sent skyward, watching as the blades come down land in the ground - gleaming elegantly in the sunlight - with the same expressionless face. Each sword exerted a type of pressure, despite being stuck, motionless in the ground; However, whether it be because of his experience on the battle field, or his brain accumulating rust like a tarnished blade, the psychological pressure failed to effect him.
Even for someone as carefree as himself, he carefully heeded his friends instructions, resting his left [non-dominant] hand on the hilt of the blade nearest to him. Cautious, he lifted it as if it was the Holy Sword Excalibur (ha) itself and examined it, performing a few practice stabs and slashes aimed at the empty space to his left. For a second, he could just remember the time when he and his three friends studied together in the Land of Iron; He couldn't help but laugh, as he was a man who swore to always look to the battlefield in front of him, and never turn back - That, and he was too young be feeling so nostalgic.*
"Ahaha, Ah, excuse me, it's just that my memories flashed by like a revolving lantern. Am I doing this correctly?"

*Keotsu watches silently, knowing what's coming - as Sakamoto begins swinging the blade, he is forced to suddenly release it, as needles quickly extend from the hilt, stabbing his hand.*
"Forgive me, but it is a philosophical reminder built into the style - a sword may be a weapon indeed, but a warrior who uses it only as an instrument of war, and does not respect the blade, will eventually feel the bite of that blade.
It also serves as a sign of Unity. When these blades are on the field, you know you have a comrade near by.
Now, look closely on at the swords near you; you'll notice several buttons on the hilts. The buttons are set to reject spikes from within the hilt if they are pressed in the incorrect order.
Watch, closely."
*Keotsu then shows Sakamoto the proper way to grab an IOSS katana so the mechanism doesn't engage.*
"It takes some getting used to, especially to be able to do it without a single thought in the heat of battle, so take some time to practice grabbing the blades, and doing so quickly."

As the pain of the ejecting needles jolts up his body, Sakamoto instinctively releases his grip on the sword, letting it drop to the floor. Before he has the chance to complain, however, he listens intently to the instructions given by Keotsu. Watching closing to remember the correct way to wield the blades so that the mechanism does not engage.
Before giving it another try, Sakamoto speeds up the natural process of Blood Coagulation on his left palm, sealing up the wounds, prior to bandaging his palm over @_@
"Let's try this again . ."
*Surprisingly focused, the way to disengage the needles flashes through his mind like a revolving lantern. He proceeds to lift the blade nearest to his right [dominant] hand - In a few awkward movements, he manages to just barely disable to mechanism; He does it several more times to 'master' the system in control of the protruding needles to a certain degree.*
"The first technique we'll be covering is the first ranged technique that was created for the Infinite One-Sword Style; Sword Fang. It's a brilliant technique: its designed so that the three swords you throw land behind the opponent's guard, so that they can't easily dodge the swords when you strike the base, creating a "slashing claw", without disarming themselves. Due to the sheer strength of the upwards strike from the claw, the opponent is going to be sent reeling backwards; that's where the second part of the technique comes in, which is actually a technique called "Vertical Line," that was added to "Sword Fang," which is technically only the portion of the technique that is the upward slash.
The Vertical Line portion is to ensure that pressure is maintained on the opponent; when the swords from Sword Fang are still in mid-air, you'll use the sword currently in hand to strike the base of each sword, propelling them through the air like bullets - they move at such high-speeds so quickly after the strike that sent the opponent flying, that all but the most skilled of warriors will be unable to parry these strikes.
This attack is fearsome; it allows you attack from range, potentially disarm your opponent, and keep pressure on - this is great for people who are too cowardly to fight you in close range, while also forcing them too.
And now, I shall demonstrate."
*Keotsu then grasps a nearby katana by the hilt, and proceeds to quickly strike three of the surrounding blades, sending them flying skyward in a parabolic arc; the swords come speeding down to earth, a distance away from him- however, as soon as he had launched the sword, he had blitzed in the direction he sent them, so that he's right behind the blades as they impale themselves into the ground.
Swinging his blade horizontally, and low across the ground, Keotsu strikes each blade near the base, causing the swords to whip upwards, their edge rising skyward, as if like some sort of lever; as if a beast's claw swiped upwards; the hilts are positioned perfect: the three pommels are facing Keotsu's chest, just level with his sternum, and his low horizontal strike has his sword out to his right side.
Swinging his blade quickly, he strikes the right most blade with a diagonal slash, propelling it forward. Quickly cutting upwards, he strikes the left most blade; and with his blade held skyward above his body, he brings it straight down, striking the middle blade, and propelling it as well, sending the three blades careening through the air, where they impale themselves several inches into a tree across the river, each only a few inches apart, and with each sword's edge facing the sky, at perfect angles.

"Now, Sakamoto...you attempt the technique, now that you've seen it preformed."
*Sakamoto listens as Keotsu delves into his explanation of the "Sword Fang." From his understanding, the Sword Fang was predominantly a close range technique in which the user, with a single swing of his blade, would simultaneously suspend three of his blades that were previously stuck into the ground, in mid air in a single fluid motion - Meanwhile the Vertical Line attack compliments the former, by allowing one to fight from a distance away.
He watches as Keotsu executes his personal demonstration of the techniques, before making an attempt himself.
Sakamoto picks up the nearest sword, while consciously disengaging the needle system as he does so. As Keotsu did, Sakamoto quickly and consecutively strikes the three blades closest to him, sending each one flying before eventually returning to the earth a decent distance away from him; As Keotsu did, immediately after sending the blades flying, he rushes over in the direction they were hit in order to be there just as the blades will impale the earth.
With a swift, One-Handed Horizontal slash, Sakamoto strikes each sword nearest to the point in which is sticks into the ground, causing each one to simultaneously rise into the air, parallel to the ground, their edges facing the sky, ultimately slashing like a beast in the process. Once in the air, he proceeds to strike each of the three blades, beginning with a One-Handed Vertical Slash, hitting the blade farthest to his right, and a One Handed Diagonal to strike each of the remaining two going along towards the left - As a sub-sequent result, each blade is propelled forward as if they were bullets fired in quick succession. The blades stick out of the ground, just a few inches apart in a patch of earth a ways away from Sakamoto.*

"Excellently done. You've preformed the technique marvelously. With that, we'll now move on to the next technique: Addition; one of the most fearsome techniques in the style, and one of the most powerful Kenjutsu techniques.
Addition is a fearsome attack that strikes the opponent with twelve blows, each done so quickly after the last that virtually no time exists to stop the onslaught; it will take all of your physical ability to preform this high-speed, and high powered attack.
It does put a high strain on your body, though, so be wary of using it."
Type: Attack
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short
Chakra: 50
Damage: 90
Description: This technique utilizes the numerous swords involved in the use of the Infinite One-Sword Style and both the user's skill and speed as a ninja. The user attacks the opponent a total of eleven times in rapid succession, each at different angles and positions. With each strike the sword is left behind attached to the opponent. He then lands the final blow, making a total of twelve devastating blows. This technique pins and hurts the opponent. The reason why the swords can be powerful and stay on the opponent is because the blunt of the blade is used. The attack itself relies upon the high speeds of the individual attacks and the momentary stun inflicted by the previous blows, allowing the user to grab one of the surrounding swords and continue with the technique. This attack when used and if added with multiplication will put a great strain on the user making him or her dizzy and very exhausted. This is a finishing combo and is to knock out the opponent.
Note: Only musasibou can teach this.
Note: Can only use twice per battle.
Note: The user cannot use this technique again for 3 turns.
Note: The user can only perform two attacks this turn, this is included to that tally.
Note: User can only use 2 moves next turn.
Note: User can not use genjutsu or taijutsu for 1 turn.
Note: This can be blocked to minimize damage. (-10)
The technique is from 3:20 to 3:40.

*Keotsu begins by simply grabbing a near by katana, and faces a smaller tree near-by that will be used in place of a training dummy. Quickly rushing towards the stump, he rears his blade back to his left, with both hands, and slams the blade into the stump, using the back of the blade; as the blade makes contact, he quickly releases his grasp and reaches behind him, grabbing one of the near-by blades, and slashes again; again using the back of the blade, and striking the stump with a right-to-left diagonal slash; dancing around the trunk to his right, he grabs yet another sword, swinging with more diagonal strikes; when the second blade makes contact, he continues moving, grabbing a third.
Swinging horizontally, he grabs yet another blade upon releasing the previous on contact; with each strike, the blade is left behind, as if attached magnetically to the tree.
The fourth blade strikes home, diagonally again from right-to-left, which is quickly joined by a fifth blade slightly to it's left, in the same orientation; continuing to make his way around the stump, now directly behind it, he swings the blade almost horizontally, striking at a very steep angle at the mid-point of the stump; grabbing a seventh blade, he swings vertically downwards, leaving it handing from the tree.
Moving quickly, he continues on, grabbing an eighth, ninth, tenth, and elven blade, each striking the stump with the back of the blade, and at variable diagonal angles, each blade left behind with each strike; suddenly making a quick turn, having worked his way back to the front of the stump, having leapt backwards with a great bound in doing so, Keotsu grabs one last, twelfth blade, and rushes towards the stump; he swings with a powerful two-handed strike, absolutely horizontal across the wooden object, creating a loud crack upon impact; the high-speed onslaught preformed at high speeds, at the instant the twelfth blow finally connects, the other eleven swords begin falling to the ground; indention are seen in the wood from where the back of each blade met the bark, and a deep crater where the twelfth blade struck; had the edge been used, the tree would have likely been cleaved in two.*
"This technique is a finishing move; it takes a good toll on your body to use it, but anything you hit with it likely won't stand back up to continue fighting. The initial strike is used with the back of the blade to deliver more stunning force, allowing you the slight split-second interval needed to continue; each blade is generally used with the back of the blade in order to increase the stun time...however, after the first blade, if you choose to use the edge for a more fatal attack, then that's possible as well.

Chaining one strike after the other in consecutive, fluid, and powerful motions, he makes use of the swords in his immediate vicinity to incessantly strike the tree with the back of each blade. One, Two and then Three, and soon enough, eleven swords are thrust against the tree. To finish off the powerful combo attack, Keotsu grabs one last blade and blitzes towards the tree, performing a Two-Handed Horizontal strike, breaking deeply into the bark of the tree in the process. As the final blow lands, each of the swords fall to the ground - The tree appeared deformed; It was abused, used for acrobatic stunts, and ultimately broken and deformed, like a chair that was thrown at Jackie Chan.
After establishing a basic understanding of the workings behind this powerful technique, Sakamoto decides to try. He approaches a tree, adjacent to the one Keotsu was working on, and picks up the blade nearest to him. With both hands on the blade, he picks up speed and slashes at the stump, digging the back of the blade into the bark. Not wasting any time, he proceeds to move on to the next blade and strike the tree stump, followed by the next, and the next - Eventually however, his strength falters, and he is unable to complete the combination, stopping short at the half way point, 6 swords. His attempt was half-hearted, and he under estimated the strain it would put on his body.
After a short re-evaluation and light meditation, Sakamoto makes his second attempt. Grasping the sword nearest to the stump with both hands, he performs a Two-Handed Diagonal Slash from right to left, digging the back of the blade into the bark of the tree. He then proceeds to execute a number of consecutive strikes on the stump of wood, grabbing the swords in his immediate surroundings - wielding them as if they were extensions of himself, he was almost at the point of forming a synergistic bond between himself and the forged metal. In a few seconds, he executes the combo with staunch precision. After the final strike, each of the twelve swords fall to the ground, revealing the deep indentations in the wood - Had it been a person, they would likely keel over in pain and be suffering from internal hemorrhaging, in the best case scenario (And that's with the back of the blades).*
"Keotsu! You made that look so easy, Konoyaro! That took a lot out of me . . Was that adequate?"

"That was perfect. I think you're ready for the next step:
Multiplication. Multiplication is the same as Addition in that you'll strike the opponent twelve times, using a different blade each time; however, it differs in that after the twelfth strike, you'll grab a thirteenth blade and strike each of the twelve blades surrounding the opponent once more, doubling the amount of hits that the opponent is subjected to. Due to the immense speed at which this jutsu is preformed, and the amount of exertion required within such a small interval of time, this will have repercussions on your body."
Type: Attack
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 50
Damage: 100 (50 to the user)
Description: This is a stronger version of the "Addition" technique of the Infinite One-Sword Style. The user attacks the opponent with another 12 strikes with a weaker damage slash to keep them stunned. While the opponent is still impaled by the previous twelve strikes, the user attacks once again, striking these remaining swords so as to repeat the succession of movements preformed previously. This results in doubling the attack damage that was already done, as it cuts his opponent with the twelve swords all over again. This totals up to twenty-four strikes being recieved by the enemy within an incredibly short period, leaving little to no chance for a counter attack. This attack causes damage to both the user and the opponent since this uses chakra and body speed/power to repeat the action it puts a immense strain on the users body. The user will be sluggish and be unable to do anything next turn.
Note: Only musasibou can teach this.
Note: Can only use once per battle.
Note: This technique can only be done if Kendo: Infinite One-Sword Style is set up.
Note: The damage from this can not be blocked.
The technique is from 3:40 to 3:58.

"This technique is actually not much more complex than Addition to preform, but, requires a great deal more stamina. Upon the completion of the twelfth strike, you will then grasp a thirteenth blade and proceed to strike each of the blades stuck upon the opponent's body with it - this will essentially strike the enemy with twelve more blades, all over again, totaling a destructive twenty four blows.

*Sakamoto himself nods, acknowledging Keotsu's instructions. He stands up and shakes the grogginess off after having previously performed Addition.*
"Ha, well if that's the case, it wouldn't due to disappoint."
*As he did when performing Addition, Sakamoto reaches for the sword nearest to himself. Pushing the limits of his physical ability, he dashes towards the stump, performing a Two-Vertical Slash and driving the back of his blade to top of the wood. Just as swiftly, he dances around the stump, grabbing the blades nearest to him as he goes along - First, a One-Handed Diagonal from right to left followed by a diagonal from the opposite side, then a Two-Horizontal slash from left to right. It was a relentless barrage of consecutive strikes for total of twelve strikes, just as done before. After each attack, a sword would remain attached to the wood as if magnetically attracted. At this point, Sakamoto had nearly worn himself out, and his offense would begin to falter; Before he could give into his weakness, however, he called on a thing called "bushido" to stand again, even as his muscles urged against it. He grabbed the nearest blade to him once more in order to deal the final, ultimate decisive blow - With a swift swing of his arms, Sakamoto struck each of the surrounding blades in order to deal repetitive damage in succession to the movements previously performed, effectively doubling the amount of damage dealt. After completing the combination, each of the swords fall to the ground - In comparison with Addition, the indentations left behind on the stump dig noticeably deeper, denoting how truly effective this technique is.
After all is said and done, Sakamoto himself collapses on the ground from exhaustion.*

*Keotsu smiles as his friend perfectly preforms the technique.*
"I knew you could do it. Here, why don't we take a break before we move on to the next technique. I think it'll be your favorite. The most versatile of all the IOSS techniques, and one I'm sure you're quite familiar with: Disorderly Line.
A technique that creates a perfect offense and defense by surrounding yourself in an impenetrable dome, formed by a torrent of blades. You can seamlessly move between offense and defense, and also do both at the same time - the start up lag of many IOSS attacks is reduced tremendously, if not outright eliminated, because the swords are readily at your disposal.
It works simply - when you grasp a blade, you will focus chakra around it, and then transfer some of that chakra to another blade upon contact with it. This will allow the blade to hover in the air - and because the chakra is transferred from sword to sword, quickly, it takes only a fraction of a second to cause the torrent to begin.
It is, in my opinion, the technique that defines the Infinite One-Sword Style. You've seen it in action. You know what to do.*
(Mugen Ittōryū: Ranritsu no Narabi) Infinite One-Sword Style: Disorderly Line
Rank: S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: A powerful Infinite One-Sword Style technique, this technique involves the user focusing chakra into their blade and striking the surrounding blades, transferring some chakra to the surrounding blades, causing them to be launched up into the air, allowing the user to manipulate the blades as they wish. This allows the user to control the blades as needed, though they form a spinning dome around the user when idle, creating a powerful offense and defense. This move is similar to the move Soushuuha, but is in itself quite different and can be used by Samurai.
*Must have the Infinite One-Sword Style already set up.
*Only useable/teachable by Musashibou, Akiza, and KeotsuEclipse.
*Only useable twice per battle.
*Up to fifteen swords can be put into the air.
*May not be used again for three turns after first activation.
*The swords in this technique can be used in other Infinite One-Sword Style techniques, which may result in the move being slightly different due to variants.
*Keotsu smiles as his friend perfectly preforms the technique.*

It was as Keotsu had said, Sakamoto was aware of the internal workings of the technique. He began by taking a break, a moment to catch his breathe and relax his muscles, and he did just that; He lied down and reflected on everything he;d learned so far, the maneuvers and stances, and how they were all more or less leading him up to the Disorderly Line technique. However, thinking about it only makes him all the more anxious and over zealous.
He hops back on his feet and proceeds to perform the technique. H begins by grabbing the sword nearest to him and yanking it out of the ground with his right hand. With sword in hand, Sakakmoto swung the blade, slashing a number of blades all around him that were previously stuck in the ground, and channeling chakra through each of them as the metal makes contact. Through the distribution of chakra, each of the formerly struck blades hovers into the air around Sakamoto as if in suspended animation. As a test, he begins to move around, making sure the blades follow his movement, surrounding his body at all times. To test it even further, he grabs a few of the swords from the air and begins to chain combination attacks, slashing at another stump of wood, and demonstrating his knowledge of the technique.
