The scene is an open forest with massive trees spread over a wide area on a sunny afternoon near the border of the Fire and Lightning Countries. Beneath the canopy of trees, a young man, quite short in stature wearing a standard Konoha ANBU uniform is seen adressing three others who are dressed in a similar fashion. Behind the eye opening of the young man's mask, a Sharingan can be seen.
Itachi: Alright, our mission is to capture the Konoha criminal Kiyosato Sojiro. We have information that he has managed to enter the Lightning country and is trading scrolls containing powerful Konoha kinjutsu with the Raikage. Retrieving the scrolls is our primary objective.
ANBU 1 Why would he betray Konoha like that? Was he a Kumogakure spy from the beginning?
ANBU 2 The Raikage sending his men to infiltrate Konoha....doesn't seem too farfetched. That man has always been power hungry. This is an act of war.
Itachi: No evidence suggests that he was a spy. In any case, we cannot allow Konoha and Kumo go to war. We must stop him.
ANBU 3: Itachi-taichou, why are we capturing him? Isn't the policy of Konoha to eliminate traitors?
Itachi: The village wants to determine if he is a Kumogakure spy or a spy of the infamous organisation called Jinchuu. We must capture him alive and interrogate him
ANBU 2: Jinchuu...I've heard of them. Anarchists who want to instigate another Shinobi World War.
Itachi: Yes. We've heard that they plan to trade on stolen Kinjutsu to amass wealth and cause a Shinobi World War, then hire themselves out to the Great Nations to make even more money. Kiyosato might be one of their men.
ANBU 3: How are we going to infiltrate the Lightning Country? The one known as Killer Bee, the perfect Jinchuuriki is said to guard their borders.
ANBU 2: That's true.
Itachi forms a hand seal and in a puff of white smoke, a perfect clone of him appears.
Itachi: I'll take care of it.
Scene cuts to a mountaineous region covered with clouds. Four shinobi are scattered across the terrain, each of them dressed in the standard Kumogakure uniform. Itachi apporaches them walking slowly with his face down and wearing a black cloak whichcovers most of his body.
Kumo Nin 1: Who is that?! Show yourself!
Itachi continues to slowly approach them and they each pull out their swords.
Kumo Nin 2: Let's capture him!
They all charge at Itachi with their swords drawn. Itachi unsheathes his sword and drops a smoke bomb which explodes into a thick cloud of smoke. The screeching of metal can be heard in the smoke as Itachi battles against the four ninja. When the smoke clears, Itachi remains standing while all four are beaten, three are unconscious and only one remains conscious. Itachi walks towards the one who is still conscious, picks him up, and forces their eyes to connect. The Kumo Nin is placed under a genjutsu.
Itachi: Are there any more of you guards here? Also, where is Killer Bee?
Kumo Nin: He's currently training at Unraikyo. There are no more guards at this post.
Itachi: Where is Unraikyo?
Kumo Nin: About 3 KM from this place.....to the North. He guards the entrance into the Village at that point.
Itachi: I see. Now, signal for all the other guards including him to come to this location. Tell them a batallion of traitor ninjas from Kirigakure and Iwagakure as well as Sunagakure have appeared and are calling themselves the Jinchuu.
The wounded ninja stands up, takes out a piece of paper and scrawls Itachi's words on it. After folding up the paper he summons a bird and attaches the paper to it then throws the bird into the sky. Itachi takes out a number of kunai with explosive notes attacked and throws them around causing several small scale explosions. Itachi then turns to the Kumo ninja.
Itachi: Fall asleep.
The ninja collapses.
Scene cuts to another mountaineous region where Itachi and his ANBU team are seen.
Itachi: My clone should be about done. Killer B and the other guards will rush to the eastern post where my clone is. We will then covertly enter the village from the west.
ANBU 1: I see. This way we can avoid having to fight the Eight Tails or any opposition for that matter.
Itachi: Inuzuka Cho, you will locate Kiyosato by tracking his scent, taking advantage of the temporary uproar my clone caused by framing the Jinchuu.
Cho: Why are we framing the Jinchuu?
Itachi: If Kiyosato is a Jinchuu member, Kumo would not like to trade with him while having suspicion that the organisation has infiltrated their village. This will buy us a little more time to find Kiyosato before the trade. Also, it will reduce the likelihood of Kumo trading with the Jinchuu ever in thee future. It also serves to hide the fact that we, Konoha ninja, are infiltrating Kumo. Our mission, if found out, could cause a war between Konoha and Kumo. Anyways, let's go.
