Problems with the battle system...

It seems to me that a lot of the senior members are mad/leaving the forum because of the "newbies" who post useless posts/threads. I noticed that most of the "newbies" that spam want to battle. It's obvious that these people are spamming because they want to get their post count up, so they can battle and use stronger techniques...

I think we should come up with a new way to use stronger jutsus, instead of making it depend on the number of posts someone has. I believe we would see a lot less spamming if we change this...

I know I'm not the only one on this forum who thinks this...

So, anyone got any ideas?

I first want to ask the mod if it would be a possibility to change the battle system ? (doesn't rely on the post count anymore), because this would be the easiest way of getting out of this trouble...

i'm a newbie and i wanna do the battle arena,
but i cba 2 spam my posts,
i recon a ranking system bassed on the missions???
e.g everyone can do a E-rank mission then when you hvae SUCCESFULLY complete X missions you can then gain a rank,

I try not to spam and this is the reason i don't have ridiculous amounts of posts,i have debated intelectually i believe and to get as many as i have has taken a month or more!!That just shows how many noobies spam so much!!

I couldn't be more supportive to any constructive criticism about the battling system, i find it unfair and causing unnecessary spamming.

ahh So I see I am not the only one who has noticed XD meh I could careless XD I have never used the battling system since I got here XD Me, Madara, HBA, CK, Sweet and a few others made the system when we first started fighting with just posting the name of the attack and the description of it I mean those were the good days and I still had most beat with tactical and strategic thinking

I have never been a fan of the "post count" system where you have to have a high post count to battle pshhh nah I think it more or less relies on how well the person can think

Dont get me wrong I give props to those who can get thousands of posts in no time but the thing is look at Grimm (sorry for using you as the example) He has damn near 30000 posts and I can still beat him in a matter of a couple moves as can someone else I am always thinking about ^^

But still he doesnt give up and he still fights the same way ^^

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks a person's post count shouldn't matter when it comes to using certain techniques.

Perhaps, we could just lower the amount of posts it takes to use certain jutsus for example.

More people will agree when they see this ^^
I think new rules must be brought up since many of the senior members who created the ones we use now are not here anymore to implement them and also nb has changed and needs new rules and systems.
but most of all in my opinion it needs people who really know how to fight instead of using strong jutsus ^^

i know that posts does not count for your battle proformance.. but its sets rules for usin the jutsus

imagine a noob wit less than 20 posts usin all the elements and s ranks jutsu in the battle

There could be a test to became a gennin and to get to jounin or better there could be mods that see our fights once in a while and select some of the bests.

when could base the posts on how much chakra we have and do the ranks from there...

That's true. But, we could always lower the amount of posts to take to use certain jutsus.

For example:

S-rank: 2500 to 2000 posts

A-rank: 2000 to 1500 posts

B-rank: 1500 to 1000 posts

C-rank: 1000 to 500 posts

D-rank and E-rank: 500 and under

I like the post system as to your rankings and the justu you can use, because if it were to go by missions--well all the senior members who worked up the ladder would soon be on equal footing to the new members depending on if the new members take more missions. =/

The reason for spamming is because people want to use more powerful jutsu, but as far as it goes with the months (that to use B-ranks you must be a member for 1 month and so on...) I think that sets the restriction to make sure that new people do not automatically get unfair advantages by spamming, so that that way they can take things slow as related to posting. But the real problem is that new people don't follow these rules, so we need to make it clear that in order to use jutsu of B-rank, A-rank, S-rank, and Forbidden, they must be active a certain amount of time. =/

That wouldn't work out too well, as the old rules (Pein's) were quite similar to that. And then, people didn't get 1000 posts in like 2 days. =/

I don't think people would like that. It would take too long for them, then they might lose interest in fighting altogether.

Yes. There are other members you could fight in your place. And if the battle system is to be changed at all, by then, I'd even be a senior member. O_O And you'd be... a senior senior member. O___O

Actually, those are the current rules. The problem is that people aren't following it. I had to wait just like everyone else, but it doesn't hurt to wait. The point of fighting is not just to spam your way up the ladder. You can be able to use all the S-ranks in the world, but lose to a person with D-ranks if you have no battle experience.

That's how things were done before, and that's the reason why such people as me, Bisha, Grimmjow, Madara, Zanji, Elias, and others are so well respected. Because we waited out, took our time to learn and grow in battle, and became great through hard work and endurance--not by spamming our way up.
