Looks like we still have some non-believers about the Sharinan seeing through Shadow Clones. I would write a theory on this, but would really need my computer for that. Welcome to NB! Yep, it sure is. Pain is about to have a long talk with naruto. I think pain will tell naruto something about Jiraya and maybe even about Minato...

there has been a lot of discussion regarding who will tell naruto about his parents, particularly his father and how he was hokage. when i saw in this chapter of the manga that they were going to talk, i definitely thought it was a possibility. might as well be pain, although it wouldn't make it any easier for naruto to believe it coming from pain. it should have been jiraiya, imo.

Alright, lets get down to it.

The elders do not Like Danzou more than they Like Tsunande, otherwise the would not have let Jiraya go and get her. Originally Jiraya was asked to be Hokage, but he turned the position down.

I have to respectfully disagree with you there. The Elders have shown again and again they trust Danzou more than Tsunade, like forcing Sai on the team. Also I think that we fans as a whole like to fit new characters and people into the back story. Take Danzou, when the elders asked jiraya to become hokage, its more than likely that kishi hadnt even created Danzou yet. So since that storyline happened long before Danzou showed up, I feel that is hard to use that as a reason for the elders to not like Danzou so much.

i posted this on a weapon thread, wanted to know what y'all thought.

i think if naruto gets a weapon, it should not necessarily be a blade because he can channel his wind nature into or through it to form a blade. I think instead of a blade (the blade is so overused) he should have a either a fan or club type weapon.

the fan is self explanatory, he would use it to create a gust of chakra infused wind nature that he could mold into blades of needles. I think the idea of a club type weapon would be interesting because opponents will assume it is a blocking/blunt attack weapon, when actually naruto channels his wind chakra through it to create sharp edges that cut through blades as they are blocked.

a combination of these two weapons would be perfect for naruto imo.a cricket mallet-like flat club (made of same metal used for chakra blades) that can be swung to create a medium to long range wind attack (since naruto lacks ranged attacks aside from FRS), and can be used in close quarters hand to hand fighting... focusing wind chakra and sharpening edges would provide :naruto: a weapon to counter :sasuke: sword. a weapon that can perform medium to long range wind attacks, block and can be used as an oversized sword. i think it would be beyond awesome.

any thoughts?

Well, I think that he wont use a fan or a sword, cuz it would be a copy of temari and sasuke fighting style. Club is a possibility though. But I don't think he will continue developing his wind style. He will use kunais with seals for using FTG in the future. I think he doesent need any weapon. The next step of his development will be learning his bloodline techs of minato. Just expressing my thoughts. I am not sure that this is gonna happen. Who knows whats on Kishi's mind? However, I am sure that kishi wont repeat himself in giving naruto the same weapons as the other characters already have.

i agree completely, kishi understands the importance of originality and i know he wont introduce a weapon for naruto that has been seen before, but i think the concept behind a fan could be very functional and possible in a weapon for :naruto:, that is why i think the flat club is a more viable option. im just trying to think of what it would look like... kinda like zabuza's sword but with no edges?

As stated before, for the same reason, I doubt we will see a fan.

As for the club, even though its intersting, I doubt it will happen. The club is more of a western weapon. The reason we see swords as the weapon of choice in the manga is because swords are the weapon of japan, and probarbly the weapon Kishi favors. There is something romatic-esque about the sword.

Honestly, I think it would be pretty awesome to see Naruto dual-weild hand-scythes, or any shinobi really. I don't think we have seen this weapon before, but I don't think we will either.

About the previous post, with the thing related with team Hawk talking about getting Hachibi?s power, I meant that they probably wanted to steal it from Akatsuki, instead of thinking that each member of Akatsuki would get a share of the biju?s power once the extaction comes to an end.

And the thing about summoning the statue is that Pain doesn?t have to be in the place of the ceremony to summon it. With Gaara we saw that!!. Pain summoned the statue to that cave in which Deidara and Sasori where with Gaara?s body..., and he was..., let?s say, in Rain country. So, maby he summoned the statue for Hachibi?s extraction, and then he didn?t participate in the ceremony because he required his entire chakra cause he was about to anahilate KONOHA by himself.

And man, Pain doesn?t stop..., Nagato is freaking AMAZING. I liked this chapter a lot. We?re now in a position to corroborate why Nagato claims to be a God...., we can see the desperation in Naruto when he starts yelling with his hands pierced and nailed to the floor (WHO THE **** ARE YOU? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU??????). Gamabunta and the other big frogs completely waisted, Ma and Pa?s gengutsu repeled by Pain and a few seconds later, Pa pierced by God?s hand. Konoha in ruins...., the Hokage exhausted and Konoha?s ninjas defenseles......... shit, it?s amazing. He?s the ultimate villain.

And each one of these characters is extremely powerful. Let?s say,.... Gamabunta is one of the bosses back in Miokubon (whathever the spelling is)..., ?????for God sake, he?s the one that Yondaime used to fight the Kyubi, Naruto to fight Shokaku!!!!!!!!!!!..., and Pain defeated him with the other two with one single shinra tensei, up to the point in which he can?t stand up by himself because all of his bones are borken. .... Pa and Ma are the Sage masters..., and they are crying right now because they fell under Nagato?s power...., Naruto is yelling desperately...., and Nagato isn?t even present in the field.

Imagine what he could do if he was standing there. He has all of Pain?s techniques, and besides he controls all the elements at the highest levels. So, if everyone gets surprised by Sasuke?s Chidori, or his thunder manipulation thing (the one he used against Itachi), imagine what Nagato can do by mixing elements. He doesn?t have a weaknes in the elemental field, because he can counter every single elemental attack, and besides, mix the right ones to create amazing blows like Kakuso?s masks.

In this chapter we also learned that Nagato not only controls the six bodies by possesing them at the same time, but that simultaneosly he controls his chakra emitions so that they become untraceble. Another thing that surprises me is that Nagato has knowledge about the nature of the Jinchurikis, which means that he is aware of the fact that the Kiuby may come out...., and he sure contemplated the posibility of having to fight kiuby itself. (When he looks at Naruto he reffers to hem as Kyiubi). So he must have made plans to destroy Konoha, fight Naruto, fight the Kiuby, fight the frogs,..., and maby counquer the world afterwards.

Let me take a moment to say that I very much agree with what you're saying here. Good villians are extraordinarily hard to come by nowadays. I'm sad to admit that Madara or Sasuke will likely be the "final villians". They're good villians and all (well...Madara is), but they don't hold a candle to Pain.

He's just cool: and for the most part, original. Peace through Pain. A great villian.

thats an interesting idea. It would nave been very suitable, if he had used a staff. But on the other hand it wouldnt suite his style completely. Just imagine - nrutos regular outfit + black and red cape + big scroll + a staf in his hand? That wont suite him. He wiil be like Jiraya - scroll over his shoulder and nothing more. Thats how I see it and it's rather convinient too, isn't it? LoL

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't Sai and Hand Scythes the same thing?

i ve seen each and every episode and also i am a big fan, in that show staff is avatar main weapon since he is air nomad, he can use his staff to fly as well.

Orochimaru was one of the greatest villians of all time. His evil snake eyes and calm demeanor. Hes better the freeza.

that could be right, its about pain or naruto, it now looks like its pain , but it could be that kishi is going to make naruto the person of the prediction.

We have seen so little of Kyuubi recently that I doubt Naruto will be able to control Kyuubi. We have yet to see anything suggesting that he has even a foot-hold on the Kyuubi. I know Kishi said that Kyuubi would be coming out, but I kind of wish he'd leave him in for this fight.

The way things are going though it looks like Naruto is getting frustrated, angry, and desperate. That's the quientessential recipie de Kyuubi right there.
