Very logical. Agree with the fact that he would want to participate in moon eye plan. Zetsu specifically pointed out that the moon eye plan is "even able to revive the dead" so when Rin dies, Obito is going to remember that and talk to Madara about reviving Rin and become evil, etc.

I think that Madara's actually controlling the mizukage as his body lays there out of consciousness, because his mind is busy manipulating the mizukage and he could be using of the zetsu bodies... So therefore madara is the one who ordered the mist ninja to attack and surround Kakashi and Rin!! Madara knows how much Obito loves Rin so he orders the mist ninja to kill Rin, and even better Zetsu jumps in outta no where and is gonna get Obito to witness it first hand!

Then after Obito witnesses Rin's death, his only option is the moon eyes plan ... because he needs to be with Rin

and go figure that zetsu hinted at it saying "even revive the dead"

So overall Madara and Zetsu are playing Obito... Madara is behind the Mist Ninja attacking Rin, and Zetsu fools Obito into witnessing it first hand to later awaken his ms! After Rin's death, Obito will be all for the moon eye plan to get a chance to see her again. Madara is the master manipulator!

Good theory. What I don't understand is, if Madara could control the mizukage, then why wouldn't he just control Obito, instead of going through all the trouble to manipulate him like this. Still, you're probably onto something.

why would madara CONTROL obito??? madara needs to BRAINWASH obito...why? so when madara dies he needs someone WILLING to revive him later in life....AND if madara CONTROL obito, the genjutsu will be released after madara dies...meaning obito wont revive him

Hmm good theory but the "Madara" that controlled the Mizukage wore a mask similar to the one Tobi wore when facing the Fourth Hokage....and was younger than showed in the previous few manga chapters
