I know I'm a tad late on this, but I see some people are still unsure about how Obito/Tobi could have possibly fought Minato/Fourth Hokage.
Is it really illogical for it to have occured. Here are my thoughts.
1. When we see from the beginning, we that obito while fighting Minato has the usual mask with one eye whole. Obito had only one eye (remember the Uchiha massacre had not yet happened this it's unlikely for Obito to have obtained a second eye. Therefore, there was no need for a second hole. Furthermore it could not be madara because as we have seen from 602, his right was missing, while Obito's left eye was missing.
2. Obito's growth. This by the looks of it have bugged people the most. How could Obito grow so quickly? That's like saying, why is the first hokages face coming out of Madara, personally I think it is the lack of initial control because of the first's cells that were implemented into Obito's body to allow him to regain his arm and whatnot.
3. Obito himself is not that skill full, just like when he was young. Most people think that because he was with madara and that he has won all fights he has been in, makes him one of the most skill full ninja's in the naruto universe. This is not the case, for me at least. The only reason that Obito has won all his encounters is due to his ability with Kamui, which allows other to phase through him. Meaning that in practical terms he is invincible or near enough to it, plus he doesn't have to worry about being harmed as he regenerates because of the first's cells. Without Kamui, he would have been killed by Konan and other ninja. The fourth would have killed him before the events of naruto. Heck he would have been dead in those bolders still.
Now I know these are only three points, but, I think they are significant enough to mention as it does add up and could be possible plot hole fillers.
