Sasori himself is a puppet, and his brain is actually 'dead', so no, because all genjutsu work around affecting the brain (I think) whether it be through smell, or sight, it shouldn't work.

His brain is dead? no it's not, it's the only thing alive, and how would the brain be dead when he's able to see?

The living part IS the brain, it's what makes him have his senses, which is why it's affected by genjutsu, genjutsu affects the 5 senses through the brain yes but that doesn't mean that Sasori is immune to it.

Actually i always wanted to make a Kakuzu biography, but it had a rule that said you can't have Kakuzu and another bio with a KG, but it's gone now as far as i know o_o
