No, not at all.
You're acting like Obito planned everything in order to defeat Minato, as this was his ultimate plan, and it clearly wasnt.
Obito's goal was to
Separate Minato and Kushina = Success
Take Kyuubi away from Kushina = Success
Drop Kyuubi into the village and wipe it good = Partially succeeded as this was interrupted.
He only fought Minato to prevent him from interfering with the Kyuubi's attack.
What Obito planned in order to destroy Konoha, not defeat Minato. And he did an amazing Job as he succeeded everywhere. Minato said himself that he read through everything that night.... in the end forcing Minato to sacrifice himself.
Also remember that Obito was busy controlling Kyuubi while fighting Minato..... He already had his hands full with the Kyuubi as Minato himself said that controlling it like this had a limit in time, meaning that Obito was giving everything he had in terms of Genjutsu power to control Kyuubi, which means that Obito couldnt possibly use his Sharingan against genjutsu on Minato without lossing control over the Kyuubi.
Had Obito not been busy with Kyuubi, who's to say Minato would have won.... the Sharingan could have made the difference between Minato landing a hit and getting trapped in a genjutsu then warped away, get my point?
Obito succeeded in doing almost everything he had planned, but was defeated. But this fight wasnt planned, and yet he made Minato shit himself a little.... i'm sorry but controlling the Kyuubi as well as fighting Minato at the same time and only having 1 eye isnt being fodderized... it's boss.
