Did Minato Fodderize Obito During The Kyuubi attack?

Minato didn't die, he sealed himself. Obito didn't win against him the way I see it.

You can't say he knew all of minatos abilities cause he didn't know about Flying thunder god v2 which is what allowed him to hit obito

You can see here that he knew Minato's ability to teleport to markings... You could clearly see that his kurani was marked, If he never then i wouldn't exactly call tobi a good ninja ...

It may be true he never knew about FTG V2, but he still fell for the kurani attack .... If he wasn't part Zetzu he wouldn't of been able to walk away from that rasengan!

What people are maybe forgetting is this:

- Obito had a huge time to prepare his plan and make a surprise attack, while Minato knew nothing and had no preparation time

- Obito knew all Minatos jutsus, while Minato knew nothing about his opponent, not even his name or abilities

- While at disadvantage, Obito attacking surprisingly his wife, and his son, he managed to save them quickly

- Obito took control of the Kyubi and used it to attack Konoha from one side, and attacking Minato from the other side, so Minato was at a disadvantage since he didn't simply had to beat Obito, but do it quickly so that he could save the village also(he was hokage after all)

- But with all the disadvantage he had(protecting the village, dealing with the Kyubi, knowing nothing about his ennemy), he managed to quickly analyse Obitos abilities and find his way to strike and beat Obito all that in 5pages, then go and save the village from a TBB quickly again, and seal the Kyubi.

Moral of the story? Obitos attack with a back-up plan didn't even lasted more than 10minutes

from manga 503 page 4,do u guys notice something?tobi's left hand was falling apart (zetsu's body). Obito lost his right hand only not both hands and why would he used or attached zetsu's body pieces on his left hand ?

That seems to be Obito's fault, even though he is power and skilled now he seems to be so convinced of his superiority that he doesn't properly analyze the situation. He didn't expect Minato to counter the way he did and in the end it led to his defeat and therefore, he also lost control of Karuma.

Did he totally fodderize Obito? I don't think so, but he definitely gave Obito something to consider.

I wouldn't go as far as to say he got fodderized, but we can't deny that he didn't land a single hit on Minato. Plus Minato was able to one-up him with the FTG. If he had stayed, I think he would have lost because Minato tagged him with a FTG seal and I think that at that point the fight was already over. I think Obito just wasn't ready and rushed his plan.

I think Tobito might have more in his arsenal than just slipping through dimension. Minato acknowledged his strength so much that he thought he was madara and made his son a jinchuuriki. That is saying something. If it was a dual between the two to the end, it could have been different fight when both would have bought their time. Given Tobito's age at that point I would still have to go with Minato just based on the battle experience we know he has. Its only now that I think we are about to see what Tobito's real power is.
