well i have a ton of friends and all of them know i read manga lol and well i even got some of the ppl that you wouldnt even think would read manga into it lol but just be yourself and dont be afraid to talk to ppl and go to a few parties that wont hurt
and well if i consider myself a nerd well i think i am because when in collage girls love to hang out with the guy that gets A's in his class no lie they come out of no were lol

I dont think simply reading/watching naruto makes you a nerd, if you are a nerd than there are probably other factors contributing to that. I know that i am by no means a nerd, but I may just be an outlier soo yeah.

I had a lot of friends in school and still do. I've never really been branded a nerd. These days I'm probably more interested in things that would make one labeled as a nerd than I was when i was younger. I'm 21 now though, and as you get older it becomes less important to you whether you "fit in" or not and older people tend to just accept your interests for what they are, and wont avoid you socially just because you like to read a comic book.

I remember when people used to get picked on for their interests in high school. It always pissed me off, but I was never personally made fun of for it.

Technically yes, but society is changing. Nerds are cool now. Things that were considered nerdy back then, aren't. Comics, for example, are at an all time high, especially since they dominate the movie screen. That's not the answer to the question, but some notes.

So, yeah and people in my part of the world may call me one. They either have before or have called me variations, like calling me a kid for liking "cartoons" or whatever, but hardly any one has called me a nerd (especially recently. I hardly even hear the word) and if so, then so be it. I'm awesome xd

I hang out with my friends, play football(soccer), play the guitar, go on activities. So, computer is just something I use, for listening to music, searching something I want to know, for fun etc.

Sure I am a nerd I guess I got a addiction too naruto bleach and alot of video games(mostly halo, and zombie games.)
Also like to draw.
But I also do other things like box, and alot of fights.
So I do multiple things. An if people got a problem with it, a simple combination or haymaker shut them the h%ll up.

I'm a computer programmer, for fun and work. I write essays about Naruto. I've watched and read Sci-Fi and fantasy my whole life. I'm (supposed to) wear glasses, have no girlfriend, got beat up every day in school, lunch money stolen etc... I attend anime/game/scifi conventions, dress up in costumes.
