Have you ever seen my fights? Well... I try to stay as much close I can to the actual naruto fights.... So I think I'm the only one or at least on of the minority (spelling) who uses a kunnai in battle...

I dont want to take all the fun from battles but if we have more restriction we would need to appeal to our minds more often...

lol I think u didnt' get my point... I didn't said that we should use more kunai or that it would be difficult to use kunai... I said that the system that Tenzu proposed is based on the fact that we don't have to reveal all the move we're doing (in naruto their strategy is always secret and well elaborated). Kunai are used has a divertion or has way to make the enemy move, we can't say that in a fight...

ex:

Me: I send a kunai at u so u will move in the direction of a trap I've set up and u didn't know of because it was my plan...

enemy: ...How can I fight u if I don't know what ur doing?

Me: I win.


and fight would start...

I understand ur point...But there's something that we have to consider also, that u didn't point out. In the naruto manga there is a lot of taijutsu, subs, hidding....These kind of attack are nearly impossible to perform here on NB. In the manga, ninja will come up with strategy to win, by so they will hide and do stuff that the other can't see. This type of fight is impossible considering that u have to tell everything to ur opponent so he can come up with an adequate counter-attack.

I am the first one here who would do anything for realism, but we're playing chess here, all our pieces have to be shown to our enemy and he has to come up with a plan against it.


Responding to ur other post (above me I think) I am in the favor of a limit of 3 elements and 4 at the very limit for experience fighter. This way fight would be much more strategic instead of overpowered elemental combo.

I'm aware of that. o.o Although, I never implied that I wanted people to abolish the use of elemental techniques. I just want to see something different. Like people using clan justus for once. D; Though, I'm actually quite happy now that there's finally a puppeteer here in NB, *cough cough* 6th Kage *cough cough* and hopefully, The Faceless Shinobi will be using nothing his bugs too. ;D

yeah, that's a problem that in naruto the battles are tottaly diff.. we don't even count chakra.. also there everything happens very fast... (naruto games on consoles) and that is impossible to do here cause it's just tottaly diff..

Yeah, kunais are so conventional that not many people use them that much; it's almost like a last-choice weapon ^^

I'm just wondering about the people that already have 3+ elements. If this sort of a new system is enforced, wouldn't it just make them all the more powerful because there would be less people with more than three elements?

Nah, those people, regardless of if they did spam their way into that many posts or not, they deserve it. >.< Those weaker people like myself, will just have to work harder then, I believe.

I don't think 5 should be allowed, cause then you have counters to all elements... though I think 4 is possible, since kakashi said that all five is impossible.

i think youre right, 5 elemts are overpowered, people should have 3 elements max. and then, when they know all of theyr elements techs, they would create customs, it will be much more original i think..

Well the thing is, post limits are enforced on the number of elements one can possess.

It's not really a question of whether or not having all 5 elements is possible or not (it is possible. Kakashi used the fifth element, wind, in a game. And elemental affinity just makes it easier for a person to learn one or, in some unique cases, two specific elements. It doesn't bar them from learning the other elements, it's just much more difficult for them to learn the other ones), it's a question of lifespan.

I mean, for some of the people who have over 10,000 posts, it's like they've been alive for the equivalent to hundreds of years in the Naruto universe, and thus have had time to learn all of the elements. If shinobi lived forever in the Naruto manga/anime universe, they would have time to learn all of the elements. But it's just more efficient for them to be good in their specific affinity element(s) rather than to be just ok in all of the elements.

That was true before the forum's games revolution.
Now people who are online for like 2 weeks have 3,500 posts already >.<
In my opinion there is no point in gaining ranks depending on the posts count.
Training and battle experience should be the criteria.

but now back to topic plz, what do you think about the chakra paper suggestion?

Well...one last comment from the creator of this thread.
just to clear things up a bit:

This so called 'game' represents the chakra paper test.
If a NB shinobi wants to start learning element manipulation, he should go to this test to learn about his afinity.
Then, this element will be is strongest one...
(If you notice this, all the shinobis that have more than one element use stronger jutsus on the element of affinity and the power of the jutsus decrease for the second, the third and soo)

This suggestion was made to make the fights more enjoyable... To see the NB shinobbis use their heads to do combos with ninjutsu, genjutsu and TAIJUTSU, as well as use basic weapons more often...

To see exemples of these kind of fights I suggest everyone to see my fights (Kiwii) and Keotsu Eclipse's fights. (these are the ones I know...but there could be others...) and i've seen one (that one was when everything started) that was a sword fight of Lgray vs Yamato (I think scary yamato...) and thats very good too.

So...please comment, vote, and try to do show more interesting fights.
