I understand that not everyone thinks things through as thourougly as I do, however, there are those that do. There are those that will defend their theories because they are based upon what we have seen in the manga. Regardless of weither or not this is simply prediction or discussion, if your prediction doesn't hold up to scrutiny then it can be dismessed or improved upon. I've said it before, and here I go again: I realize that everything here is 100% speculation, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. I respect your opinion even when I find flaw in your theory. The only people I attack are those who have attacked others, and I have jokingly called J-Man a noob for quoting himself.
If you attack someone with harsh words you open yourself up to the very same, especially when it is someone I consider myself amiable to.
If you can't handle the heat, don't post flames. If your theory has holes, I will find them and I will poke at them. It is your job to patch the holes.
Heck, I've even scrutanized my OWN theories and subsequently bolstered them up again with fresh evidence.
I thought I had chosen the right cmmunity here at NarutoBase. I thought I had found a community of mature people who thought things through as I do, who enjoy a good debate. ( There is obviously a handful of them here. )

Really dont know what's going on but from the lil ive read it seems that people are getting their feelings hurt because others are breaking down their predictions or whatever else it might be. I think the whole purpose of this website is for all of this, from predicting, to putting up info that other's dont know, to constructive criticism, etc. Unless someone just starts going off on how dumb someone is, then that's something else (even though it seems that some people on here dont even read the manga and post up crazy stuff that doesnt make sense). Other than that I dont believe people should get mad because someone breaks down their predictions, if I were to post of a prediction with no back up as to what has been going on, then by all means break it down as you may choose. I read people's predictions and sometimes post of a reply to the prediction whether it makes sense or not. But that's pretty much all I have... Laterz, dont get all butt-hurt guys.

Exactly. Before I joined this community I read the posts. People were debating back and forth with one another LONG before I joined. It makes me wonder: Why, suddenly, I am the target of such prejudice and vetting?

Same here, mid 20s as well. I have yet to see a moderatior come in and tell us to stop debating on this forum and to take it somewhere else, and I have yet to be scolded or scorned by a moderator. Until such time I will continue the debate here, as it seems a fine place to do such things.

As for the American ShonenJump, I was aware that we were getting accelerated mangas, but I thought it was coming in the form of the Volume books published by Viz. I might be wrong. I know they sad they are accelerating the anime as well, and they are releasing a subbed version of the anime for their american veiwers very quickly after the new episode is aired. (Im not sure if english is the only sub available or not. )

I know they sad they are accelerating the anime as well, and they are releasing a subbed version of the anime for their american veiwers very quickly after the new episode is aired. Wait whats going on ?? I heard that the manga was suppose to be accelerated as well, but someone else said that it was only going to be the really old chapters, the begining chapters, they said that it probably wouldnt catch up to where we are now. But I didnt hear anything about the ANIME. Is the anime going to be accelerated too ?? Is it going to be pushed to all the way up to Shippuden ??? Im also in my mid 20's, just had my birthday yesterday.

Because the editor for Kishi thought the audience would like some Narutoo action. Honestly, this entire fight has felt staged to me. All the previous Naruto fights have been edge-of-your-seat-who's-gonna-win-action. I mean, lets face the facts. Say you're Naruto and you get summoned to a crator that used to be your village. You shrug it off. Oh, and your beloved mentor is dead, poor Kakashi. Oh, and by the way, the guy who killed your other sensei is standing right in front of you, byebye Erro Sennin.
So lets add this up: You've destroyed my village, killed my senseis and at the least wounded a few dozen other shinobi in my village that I care about, you killed shizune *golf-clap*, and you've made Sakura cry.
You know what? I think im just going to keep a level head and fight you.

Seriously? You're not going to get agry with all of that and you're not going to bring out Kyuubi at all? Even though you went four tails just to get Oorchimaru to tell you where Sauske is?

I know, he's trying not to use Kyuubi, but for crying out loud, a litte more emotion from Naruto is warrented here.

Iam a bit late to respond but, I missed your reply before. I will miss tsunade landing her punch on Nagato- i hope she still gets to do it. I mean they can locate Nagato together and then Tsunade can say this is for my team mate Jiraiya and knock him out first. anyway...

As for Naruto, I think it is not that surprising that he is in contolre this time. First he has been learning to be more and more in controle gradually. Secondly Jiraiya has been dead for a while and Naruto mourned over him already. So it is time to act for him. Sakura crying is not going to make Naruto angry at the moment- If it did it will be childish and disappointing. There were far worse things happenning around and Sakura cried over it.

As for Kakashi and Village- that is really sad but, this time it is not a surprise for naruto. he already knew tha Pain was strong. There was a strong chance of Akatsuki invading Konoha. Orochimaru(a former Akatsuki himself) has already shown what could happen if it happens, a long time ago. When he came to battle field he knew something big and bad had already happenned...

Anyway. Going Kyubi is not a solution for me unless Kishi makes it so. Pain wants to extract kyubi and not kill naruto before it happens. "So if I die, you die" blackmail is not going to work here. But, if nothing else, Naruto will die eventually of old age some time and Kyubi will be dead to when it happens.

So Kyubi might as well be happy at the idea of leaving his jail. He may like the idea of working for Madara...

If Kyubi helps Naruto out then probably Kishi will explain why Kyubi doesn't want to go back to Madara and live forever....

By the way, everyones posts are right until proven wrong. That is what I am trying to do, prove them wrong. I have been an advocate of Kakashi dying, and then someone said something that makes sense: Kakashi is a cash cow. That post and that post alone has made me reconsider my stance. Not change it, but reconsider.

Actually, I understand what ssanimo is saying. Whenever you disagree with someone, you tend to be condescending in your posts. We have to remember that the community is made up of people from different ages, young and old. Some may not be mature enough or eloquent enough to rebute your posts. This don't make them wrong, or make you better for that matter. As what have been said, this is all speculations. This is a prediction forum. Although ideas may conflict, it doesn't necessarily mean that you have to rebuke them to submission. If one can't answer back, don't mean you win. No one here has to prove anything to anyone. This is not a contest. Nobody knows what will happen next except kishi. So let's just enjoy posting predictions. The thrill of guessing what happens next makes this enjoyable.

Back to the manga... Question: Doesn't it seem odd that Naruto's sage chakra got drained so quickly by Fat Pein? Naruto needed some time to gather all that nature chakra to go to sage mode and for chakra as enormous as that to be drained so quickly (just on the last page), maybe, just maybe, that is just a clone after all. Any thoughts guys?

I agree, it would make sense. Weve already been told that in order to summon something one must have a contract with it. This is why I believe Sauske has signed the snake contract, as he summons Madra or whatever that snakes name is.

I also think Sakura has signed the slug contract, and here is why: Naruto, Sauske, and Sakura were traned by Jiraya, Oorochimaru, and Tsunande respectively. Obviously Naruto signed the Toad Contract, I've laid out the theory of Saske signing the snake contract (though we never see him do so) s it makes sense to me that Tsunande would pass Katsuya to Sakura.

So why hasn't sakura broken out Katsuya? Maybe she has a hard time summoning Katsuya, like Naruto has a hard time summoning Gammabunta. Those large summons are rarely used. Perhaps she was going to when Pein attacked but Tsunande is much more skilled with Katsuya.

As for other villages, here's the thing. It seems to me that in order to have an animal summon one must sign their contract. Theres got to be a limited number of those contracts floating around, so the fact that Konoha has four is pretty amazing. ( Figure out why I said four and Ill give you a cookie. Hint: It is not Akamaru. )
Perhaps we will see other summoning jutsu later, but their value is limited unless in an open space.

Maybe this might shed some light or just get us more confused:

1- If we go back, Sasuke summoned the snake king (whatever his name is) to protect him against Deidara.
2 - This was done after he "killed" Orochimaru, meaning Orochimaru was merely a resident in Sasuke's body.
3 - Since at the time Sasuke was one with orochimaru, it would seem fair enough to assume he "gained" the ability to summon the snake.
4 - I beliveve the ability to summon died along with Orochimaru.
5 - If it didn't, don't you all think he would have summoned something during the battle with the 8 tails? Cause he was getting owned and willing to use just about anything in his resources.
6 - I agree Sakura has or will get the snails. The reason i think she didn't summon them yet is because she never had to. I mean we still got Tsunade who would be a way better summoner.

I do see some holes in this theory:

1- Sasuke could have signed the contract while trainning under Orochimaru.
2- Then again, we will only know if he summons a snake at least one more time.

Anyone seen the spoilers yet? Fatty turning into a toad? I have to take my hat out to the guy who mentioned it before.

I think Naruto verse has as many summons as many animals/creatures one can imagine. Other people have shown summoning techniques as well. For example: The spider guy during "Sasuke leaving Konoha" arc summoned a giant spider and so on....

technically the dogs dont have a contract, kakashi raised them himself, like kiba with akamaru, and has anyone else wondered if there is like some crazy powerful bug that shino can summon??? i mean the aburame clan is pretty famous, even madara knows about them, they could have a contract with like some crazy powerful preying mantis or something

they just sumarized the sasuke encounter to rasengshuriken. theyll probably have sasuke killing oro next in america

No. I don't think I misunderstood you. I know we can't tell which Naruto is the real one. No one can. I know we don't know where Nagato is. No one does (except for Konan). But the way you put it, you said they were the same. Nope. They ISN'T. I'd have to say the perception of the two shinobi should be different. I don't know if this next sentence will work with what I'm thinking, but: We know Naruto's in there fighting somewhere. We pretty much know Nagato isn't.

Again you misunderstand me...I'll try to make what I said back then clearer...
1.) Can you honestly say that thoughts like "is this the real Naruto?", "I'm sure this Naruto is a clone.", "I'm not sure this is the real Naruto...", have never crossed your mind since you started seeing him fight?
2.) Can you honestly say that thoughts like "Who is the real Pain?", "Who is the one controlling the six paths of Pain", "I wonder who the real Pain is", "The real pain might be Nagato, afterall." didn't cross your mind when Pain had not yet been revealed ( somehow confirmed ) to be Nagato i.e. before 429...

Saying they are the same is because of all these "real one" thoughts their fights arise ( Naruto ) and have once arisen ( Pain who we now know is Nagato ).
It's like looking into the eyes of two girls who look the same but seeing coldness in one's eyes and friendliness in the other
Naruto and Pain are the SAME in the "awaken of real one thoughts" aspect but different in many other things...
