Could Edo Itachi defeat the Sannin?

I think the Sannin can take him with very high difficulty since he is an edo. Alive, they would destroy him since he has limited chakra and Tsunade being there as a medic.

i think it go either way but since orochimaru has edo tensei too he can summoned 3 badass ninjas on itachi for attack while they just play defense and tsunade heals, itachi is clearly overpowered so sannins takes this.

Title has it. Could Edo Itachi defeat all three Sannin at once? Asume the Sannin can seal Itachi with a low level sealing technique if they overwhelm him. The only restriction is KA. Who wins?

Um, no. Orochimaru has a better chance of beating edo Itachi than regular Itachi. Want to know why? He puts the seal back on Itachi and uses edo Itachi as his weapon and uses him to kill the sanin.

Heck, without KA, Itachi couldn't control himself in the first place.

Edo Itachi - with unlimited chakra, regenerating body, no illness, susanoo, amaterasu, yata mirror, totsuka blade, tsukoyomi and other strong genjutsu- takes this IMO. Hi simply paralyzed Oro once, he just has to amaterasu tsunade and take on Jiraiya or something like that. Though it would be very hard difficulty, and maybe the sannin win. But I'd say Itachi.

Itachi is too much for them with out a doubt! Tsukyumi Oro, Amaterasu Tsunade, and pull out susano'o to deal with J-man and seal him.....and the first two almost instantly! Lol

Itachi was actually talking about Naruto and the 9 tails NOT Jaraiya! Look back at the manga....been proven in soooooo many threads!!!!

First of all despite being an Edo, the OP specified that Orochimaru can summon Hashirama and Tobirama. This essentially means Itachi will fight against five kage level shinobi even though two of them are brainless versions of their former self. Stuff like Yomi Nuri, Orochimaru's thousand snake techniques, Tsunade's regeneration and immense strength, Hashirama's mokuton and BoD, as well as Tobirama's large scale suiton make this quite a stomp.

I'm pretty baffled at the comments on this thread. Sannin win low-mid difficulty if edos are allowed. They win with mid difficulty if no edos are allowed. The Sannin still win but with high difficulty if edos aren't allowed.

Sure Itachi can spam susanoo but it can still be broken as Yata Mirror doesn't protect from all directions. Hashirama can suppress the chakra from susanoo anyway and while that is happening, the Sannin can attack Itachi. Frog song will also beat Itachi and Yomi Nuri will cause him some trouble as well.

Not to mention the durability of Tsunade and Orochimaru. People here are saying that the Sannin are going to sit there, fool around, do nothing and get sealed by Totsuka Blade. Amaterasu is deadly but bunshin feints, Orochimaru's oral rebirth, Hashirama's BoD, Hashirama's wood and Tsunade's regeneration will help survive it. Also Amaterasu can't be used by Itachi over and over again every second as there seems to be a minor cool down period.

isn't sage mode supposed to prevent genjutsu? jiraiya has SM...oro has SM though both are imperfect....one of them is the present kage who has huuuge pool of chakra...all three have summonings....jiraiya is pretty good in sealing...he can seal the amataretsu flames....we have seen him do that when itachi came to konoha....those techniques aren't gonna work....tsunade has instant healing..if itachi uses amataretsu on her jiraiya can seal it and she can heal instantly....sasuke killed oro but yet we see him alive....don't underestimate him at his prime....jiraiya lost to PAIN coz he was fighting an unknown opponent and that also he pretty much lasted longer that anybody else would have....the only way of fighting i see possible here is close range fighting....tsunade and oro fighting itachi and jiraiya using sealing techniques...its not a fair fight

It's so obvious who wins this. Itachi solo'd oro at age 13 with mere Genjutsu. Need I say more?

None of the Sannin except for Oro can counter Amaterasu, and with Susano'o and Tsukuyomi, infinite chakra and an un-dying body, Itachi is TOO op. Low-mid diff.

sannin win . med difficulty. Orichamaru can summon up some other bada$s ninja using edo tensei. Jiraiya's got a pretty good defense against genjutsu. Tsunade is there with katsuyu to heal them all. Also, Itachi goes full on susanoo with the totsuka blade and mirror combo, The sannin summon their biggest, baddest summons. I say the sannin still win in this scenario. Regardless of what happens, sannin FTW.

The Sannin win. I just can't see all 3 of them under Tsukuyomi at once, and don't forget about Oro's Triple Rashoumon Summoning, it stopped Naruto's TBB so i'm pretty sure it can hold Amaterasu and Totsuka blade off for a while. And if one of them ends up in Tsukuyomi, remember Tsukuyomi is like 2 seconds, Tsunade can just heal the one who ends up in it. Oh and don't forget about their other Summonings: Katsuyu, Toad Summonings, Edo Summonings (if those are included)..
