As i feel the intense vibrations from you about to send the senbon in the air, i immediately form a 360 degree skin tight dome to form around me like a second skin in order to prepare myself from what is coming. As the senbon form under me, it gets deflected due to how fast the sand is spinning around me. Im assuming your needles aren't all directed at me since it states in jutsu description that they all are aimed upwards. And you said you form hundred(s) meaning less .8 damage for each senbon as they must be divided equally. Not arguing, just trying to prove validity of move. The pressure resulting from being buried at such an extreme depth would surely kill any normal human, if not from suffocation, then from the fact that all their bones would break.

It stabs you with its stinger as it reaches you and toys with your body in the air.
