Long post, so read it at your own patience!!!

Some thoughts:

1 - Kakashi is not dead. Most people posted some good arguments from the manga.
My point comes form the real world. Kakashi?s character nowadays is one of the most popular in Naruto.
That being said, the amount of money being made from merchandising, advertising, products, etc is huge.
I seriously doubt the publishers and all those money hungry executives would let kishi kill such a guaranteed money making jackpot.
Obviously the publishers or kishi?s bosses have power to influence the story.
It wouldn?t be too much to say that even the things being said in forums, comments and public response influences the outcome of the story.
With that I finally say...KAKASHI WON?T DIE...YET.
If I am wrong on this one, which I could...then some people just don?t know how to make money in this crisis scenario or they simply respect kishi (doubt that, money comes first unfortunatelly)
2 - I really liked Shodaime?s idea of the 3rd KB gone missing and that is totally plausible.
I may have gotten my chapters mistaken, but I am still under the impression that it poofed...
3 - I don?t think Naruto will be captured, because there is too much going on for it to end this way (sorry, no real evidence to prove my point).
I do agree that it would be cool to see a rescue mission so we could catch up on everyones development.
4 - I know a lot of people are waiting ot hoping for Naruto to come up with a new jutsu, but I don?t think it will happen anytime soon.
If we follow kishi?s work, new jutsus are introduced a few at a time.
We already saw the double rasengan and the RS.
Even if he did come up with a new one, I am sure it wouldn?t be more powerful than the RS..
5 - The move Jyraia told Naruto not to do could be a way to fully using or unlocking the power of the kyuubi.

Off topic.

- Orochimaru only went after Sasuke, bacause he knew he would never be able to beat Itachi and take over his body. It seems pretty obvious Itachi would be his first choice.
- Anyone ever wonder if Orochimaru knew about Madara?
- Whatever did happen to the frog with the key? I assume we don?t know if he went inside Naruto or not right?

Nice post dude. I will say like i said before i think naruto is using past fighting styles in with new ones i.e. the frs he through was a kage bunshin (just like with sasuke against zabuza),This leads me to the thought of the 3rd kage bunshin doing wot he did against neji,i think he using past fighting experience against pein,I mean he tranformed into akimaru aswell.....it just seems familiar thats all.....

So I went to sleep last night thinking about the manga because I posted read and posted comments right before. You know how if you go to bed thinking of a problem, you might wake up with the answer? This totally happened to me. What was the problem?: How's the story gonna play out? What was the answer?: I can't remember now... It sucks, 'cause I laid in bed for a couple of minutes, thinking about it, thinking how perfect it was, but I woke up an hour or two before I needed to, and needing all of my beauty sleep as well as energy for my job, I went back to sleep. Bad decision as far as this goes. Anyways, so I've been trying to remember what I had in mind, and even though I can't I've come up with a plausible substitute for now. Read my next post. It'll probably be a long one if I can keep my thoughts straight.

Psych! This post doesn't have the scenario I have in mind, only because I wanted to reply to a couple of statements since the last time I was online. I'm not quoting anyone because there were too many people. Random thoughts, but I'll try to separate them as well as I can with an asterisk. I also might not give reasons to my statements, but I'm pretty sure I have in previous posts. *I've said it before, and I'll say it again, "I don't THINK Kakashi's dead. *Even though I don't think he's dead, I don't think the reason's for monetary gain. It's about quality of the story. ShonenJump might care about profit, but I don't think they tell the authors what they can or can't do. I bet they like a quality story like all of us. *If the 3rd KB poofed, I think we would've seen it, even though there was a smoke screen. I don't think it'd be like Kishi, not that I know him well, to leave that out. It'd be a different story if there were a dozen or so, but just three? Easy to keep up with and draw. *I don't think the kyuubi needs a body. It's energy is in the shape of it, and it's enough to be like a solid mass. This is evidenced when the snake sword can't peirce four-tailed Naruto. *Where did you read/see that it was split into 3 parts? I remember it only being 2. *There might be an order in which they had to be sealed into the statue, but it doesn't matter anymore. When they got the Shukaku, or 1 tail, they already had 2 others, but then again, shukaku was the first eye that opened up, so they might have had to wait for the 1-tail to do the others. Anyways, all that matters now is that there are 2 left and the 9-tails has to be last to keep some kind of balance, or something. *I still think it's possible Naruto's Jiraiya's illegitimate g-kid. *I say Naruto doesn't get captured, but read my next post, and I'll give a possible scenario where he does. *I have a phobia, too. See if you can guess what it is by the name. unnecissarilylongwordedphobiaslikexenokeyboardiaenmassophobiaphobia. Ha. OoooOOOooo! I'm freaking out, man!

Wait, before I post my scenario, before I forget, I'm not sure how this might tie in or affect the situation and/or sage mode, but when one KB poofs, I am POSITIVE they ALL get the knowledge. I assume it's probably the same with energy. I think I'm on to something here, but I just can't put my finger on it. Ok. NOW read my next post.

I completely agree that it is because of the quality of the story. I just wanted to introduce a new light on the subject to reinforce the fact why I think Kakashi won?t be killed anytime soon, instead of just repeating all of the reasons many people posted before.

ShonenJump might care about profit, but I don't think they tell the authors what they can or can't do. I bet they like a quality story like all of us.

Anyone please correct me on this one, but I think kishi sold the legal rights of Naruto to ShonenJump so it got published. So they pretty much can influence him and the story IF they wanted to.
Again I am not saying that they can or would influence him to change the nature of the manga, but I?m sure they can "convince" him to certain things which is in their best interest.
On a brighter side, what if by influencing him, they are also trying to help him achieve even higher quality stories? 2 heads are better than one and so on...brainstorming, etc.

Sorry for all my bable about money and stuff...just some bottled frustation because of this crisis. I am striving to keep my job and make my small business profitable.
The reason for saying all that is because business wise it makes complete sense to "milk" your cash cow while it?s still giving milk. So if Kakashi?s character brings a lot of money in, then I for one wouldn?t kill him just now. I also said YET, cause I think he will die before the end of the manga.

To conclude...I may be wrong and Kakashi might be dead and then you can all scrutinize me and make me eat my words afterwords ( I will gadly do so provided some salt, pepper and olive oil).

You are 100% correct sir. ShonenJump has a least some influence on Kishi and Naruto. I will give you an example.
Think back to just before Naruto was summoned from Myobokuzan. I myself was under the impression that it was going to take a while for Pein to find Naruto or for Naruto to get summoned back. If this was not the case, why have Danzou kill the little frog? Anywho, what Im getting at is that Narutos return felt rushed, at least to me.
Oddly enough, I was reading a post on another forum and there was an interveiw with Kishimoto.
He said he hadn't planned on bringing Narut back at all and he had planned on Tsunande being the first person to physically get to Yahiko. She was to have the honor of being the first to punch him.
I've got to say, when it comes down to it, that wouldve been awesome to see, and Im sure each of us can agree that another few mangs to have gotten to see Tsunande in action would have been awesome.
So to conclude, yes, ShonenJump ca influence Naruto, but I really wish they wouldn't. Its enough of a hassle while creating a story trying to sort out your own input, let alone someone elses.

Chapter 433 page 13 - Onemanga

Naruto has 2 clones and himself as he makes the smoke bombs and if you keep following this forwards keeping an eye ofcourse on Naruto himself and how many clones..

Chapter 434 page 6 - Onemanga

You only see one clone go poof and Naruto thrown backwards (if this was a clone or not I'm not sure, but it didn't poof so...) So where exactly did that
3rd Naruto go ?

Could someone else follow 433 into 434 and tell me if they see anything different then me in this case ?

Follow along. This is just what I can predict with what we know... There's a lot that can happen, and according to the butterfly effect, if one thing we think is one way changes, that could change everything else. Now, my long awaited, at least by me, scenario:

Somehow, Naruto DOES get captured and taken away. Probably one or two chapters from now, since there's at LEAST one KB left in Myobukistan (unless Naruto's getting all of his energy drained, causing them to poof.), and Ma and Pa are working on their Genjutsu. I think Pain's got something up his sleeve, and with those robes, I bet he could fit a lot up there. So anyways, Naruto gets captured and taken away. Konoha, knowing the world's in trouble if all the Bijuus are captured, and that Naruto's their best hope now, send some able bodied ninjas with the frog patrol to get him back or at least trail, so I predict at least Kiba and Hinata. They can't send everybody, 'cause they need some to protect the town. Yeah, the town's destroyed, so why? There's still the kids and civilians there. Right about then, the cloud team meets team Gai, and with everybody not knowing what's going on, as well as the bad blood with the cloud and Hyuuga clan, a nice fight erupts. While this is happening, Donzou makes his move on Tsunade. He wants to kill her but Sakura stops him, but only momentarily. When Donzou's about to 'take care' of the girls, Yamato, who's been spying, stops him. This starts a fight, which even though Yamato's strong, Donzou quickly gains the upper hand. When Donzou's about to finish off Yamato, Sai, who's been with ROOT this whole time, steps in to save Team Kakashi's leader, because of his newfound/revived feeling/emotions. Together, Sai and Yamato, and maybe the 5th and Sakura start fighting ROOT/Donzou. Now, the fight between Team Gai and Cloud is broken up with the news of Akatsuki/Sasuke, and Team Gai says they thought something's happening in Konoha, and they better get going there. Back to the fight with ROOT. Although they put up a good fight, the four are about to lose when Team Gai/Cloud show up. They're horrified at what they see and are frozen, reduced to just staring. Right when Donzou's about to finish it again, with the two elder advisers watching, (Du da da dah!) Sasuke show's up and kills Donzou and the two elders, the three he was going to kill. (I'm not sure what his chronies would be doing... Maybe doing in the elders, who have nice fighting skills themselves, while Sasuke kills Donzou). When he's done, Team Hawk bounce. The cloud follow to kill him, but are confronted by Kabuto-Oro, who just about kills them, but is stopped by Sasuke, who doesn't really wanna kill anybody, or have them die on his behalf. Sasuke wants Oro's power back, so he kills Kabuto-Oro, absorbing the white snake stuff again. Madara comes, and can still kick Sasuke's ass, so Sasuke goes to train with him. By this time, Cloud ran away scared. They tell Kages what's up, when killer-bee shows up. He's concerned, and kages decide he should take Naruto under his wing (rescue team was successful, and maybe defeated Nagato) to teach bijuu control. Naruto learns of his heritage from Kakashi who's in the hospital because HE's NOT DEAD. Final showdown: KyuubiSage Mode Yellow Flash Naruto/Killer Bee vs Bijuu enhanced Madara/Sasu-kabut-oro. Naruto wins. Sasuke sees the error of his ways. Naruto marries Hinata. Sasuke marries Karen. Sakura marries Lee. The end.
*I ran out of steam and my brain train jumped it's track half-way through, but I kept going outta enursha. Oh well. Let's try to fix this... That should give people something to do when nobody's posting.

Don?t know the technicalities of it, but that?s basically it.

Maybe they've just set it up for Tsunade to come in and surprise Pein by giving Yahiko Pein a face-breaking punch and then take out Fat Pein, rescuing Naruto from his predicament...

in all honesty, her style taijutsu (super-freakin-human-strength) is perfect for this situation. that, and she Is the Godaime Hokage, she has to put in her two cents if she wants to do the title justice.

Here's an interesting thought, but I want everyone's input on this:

Naruto created two clones, including himself, before using the smoke bombs.
How did Naruto:

1-Throw himself, then create a rasenshuriken (which takes 3 narutos) to be thrown after he threw himself at fat pein.
2-he used rasengan on the ground? maybe to either dig underneath(which seems to be a popular idea) or to propel him into the air high enough so that Pein wouldn't notice(?)
3-He may have hid a clone to create that rasenshuriken which was thrown after the Naruto bunshin-rasenshuriken was...

tell me your thoughts, bc all in all, the minimum needed for this all to happen is 4 narutos, including the real one....if what i'm thinking is right, then there's still 1 clone left out there or it has been dispersed.

Because the editor for Kishi thought the audience would like some Narutoo action. Honestly, this entire fight has felt staged to me. All the previous Naruto fights have been edge-of-your-seat-who's-gonna-win-action. I mean, lets face the facts. Say you're Naruto and you get summoned to a crator that used to be your village. You shrug it off. Oh, and your beloved mentor is dead, poor Kakashi. Oh, and by the way, the guy who killed your other sensei is standing right in front of you, byebye Erro Sennin.
So lets add this up: You've destroyed my village, killed my senseis and at the least wounded a few dozen other shinobi in my village that I care about, you killed shizune *golf-clap*, and you've made Sakura cry.
You know what? I think im just going to keep a level head and fight you.

Seriously? You're not going to get agry with all of that and you're not going to bring out Kyuubi at all? Even though you went four tails just to get Oorchimaru to tell you where Sauske is?

I know, he's trying not to use Kyuubi, but for crying out loud, a litte more emotion from Naruto is warrented here.
